Title VI. The City of Arlington, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 00 Xxxx. 000, 00 X.X.X. 0000x to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally- Assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all vendors that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. Vendor will abide and ensure compliance with all terms of Appendix A of the USDOT Standard Title VI Assurances as listed below. During the performance of this contract, the engineer, for itself, its assignees and successors in interest (hereinafter referred to as the "Engineer") agrees as follows:

The City of Stockton requires compliance with the requirements of Title VI in all of its programs and activities regardless of funding source.

Title VI. The City of Port Orchard, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, nondiscrimination in federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, must affirmatively insure that its contracts comply with these regulations. Therefore, during the performance of this Agreement, the Consultant, for itself, its assignees, and successors in interest agrees as follows:
Title VI. The other party to this Agreement shall comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title 49 CFR, Subtitle A, Part 21) and related nondiscrimination authorities.
