TOOLS, EQUIPMENT AND PROTECTIVE CLOTHING. 17.2.1.1 In addition to the wage rate prescribed in clause 16, the following tradesperson's classifications shall be entitled to the following tool allowance: 17.2.1.2 Where the tradesperson's classification: 17.2.1.2.1 is not a xxxxxxxxx or xxxxxxx; and 17.2.1.2.2 where all tools ordinarily required are not provided by the employer; and 17.2.1.2.3 the classification does not specify a tool allowance then that classification shall be entitled to a tool allowance of $8.30 per week in addition to the wage rate prescribed in clause 16. 17.2.1.3 No tool allowance is payable pursuant to this Award where tools ordinarily required are provided by the employer. However where employees are required to use tools and equipment for the proper performance of their work, the employer must reimburse the employee for the cost of purchasing such items or provide the items. 17.2.1.4 Where it is necessary that an employee wear a suitable uniform or protective clothing the employer must reimburse the employee for the cost of purchasing such clothing or provide the uniform or protective clothing. The employee must wear such clothing as to achieve the purpose for which it is intended.

TOOLS, EQUIPMENT AND PROTECTIVE CLOTHING. 1. The company shall furnish employees all tools, equipment, furniture, goggles, rubber boots, aprons, hard hats, masks, respirators, ear protective devices and specialized protective clothing items when necessary for the safe performance of their duties. When such items are furnished, employees will be required to use them in accordance with the Company's instructions. 2. Employees must exercise reasonable care in the use of such items and upon leaving service or when requested, must return such items entrusted to them.

For the duration of this Agreement, the Company will provide one (1) raincoat and one (1) pair of rain pants to employees who work in the rain, with replacements provided when the raincoats and/or pants are damaged at work. 5. Employees required to wear ANSI protective gear shall not be required to purchase or wear ANSI gear with Company logos.
TOOLS, EQUIPMENT AND PROTECTIVE CLOTHING. 27.01 Each employee shall provide such clothing as are necessary to perform the work associated with his/her classification. The Corporation will replace such clothing at no cost to the employee when working under abnormal conditions whereby his/her clothing has been destroyed or rendered unfit for further use, providing the employee has taken all the necessary precautions under the Corporation's safety standards and regulations and was wearing the necessary protective clothing issued by the Corporation under Article 27. (1) The Corporation agrees to issue, on a personal basis, the following protective clothing and equipment for an employee when such equipment or clothing are required in the performance of his/her normal duties: (a) Hard hats with liners. (b) Safety glasses with cases. (c) Hearing protection devices. (d) Conductive sole boots. (e) Ski-doo helmets and goggles. (f) Work gloves with liners. (g) Flame resistant coveralls, or equivalent two-piece clothing, raingear, and inside FR clothing. (h) Coveralls or equivalent two-piece non-FR clothing. (i) In addition, the Corporation will pay the following annual allowance towards the purchase of the employee's safety footwear effective:

  • Personnel Equipment and Material Engineer shall furnish and maintain, at its own expense, quarters for the performance of all Engineering Services, and adequate and sufficient personnel and equipment to perform the Engineering Services as required. All employees of Engineer shall have such knowledge and experience as will enable them to perform the duties assigned to them. Any employee of Engineer who, in the reasonable opinion of County, is incompetent or whose conduct becomes detrimental to the Engineering Services shall immediately be removed from association with the Project when so instructed by County.   • Personal Protective Equipment 64.1 While not being part of any issue of work clothing/equipment supplied (see clause 26), the Employer shall be required to provide personal protective equipment (SAA approved) for use, when necessary for the Employee to perform their required duties including: (a) ear/hearing protection; (b) gloves; and (c) skin protective cream/sun screen (30+/50+ rating). 64.2 In addition, one pair of UV-rated safety glasses or UV-rated clip-ons suitable to overlay prescription spectacles, shall be made available for Employees who are required to work on reflective surfaces such as: (a) metal decking; (b) large concrete slabs exposed to sunlight; (c) roofing; and (d) curtain xxxxxxx.

  • Equipment and Tools 40.01 The Employer will make available all necessary tools and equipment it requires for the performance of work assignments at no cost to the employees. Such tools and equipment will remain the property of the Employer and the employees will be required to take reasonable care of this property and may be required to sign out certain equipment and tools.

  • All new supplies equipment and services shall include manufacturer's minimum standard warranty unless otherwise agreed to in writing. Vendor shall be legally permitted to sell all products offered for sale to TIPS Members. All goods proposed and sold shall be new unless clearly stated in writing. The Vendor shall provide timely and accurate customer support for orders to TIPS Members as agreed by the Parties. Vendors shall respond to such requests within a commercially reasonable time after receipt of the request. If support andƒor training is a line item sold or packaged with a sale, support shall be as agreed with the TIPS Member. Most TIPS Members are tax exempt and the related laws andƒor regulations of the controlling jurisdiction(s) of the TIPS Member shall apply. No assignment of Agreement may be made without the prior notification of TIPS. Written approval of TIPS shall not be unreasonably withheld. Payment for delivered goods and services can only be made to the awarded Vendor, Vendor designated reseller or vendor assigned company.
