TRADE UNION RIGHTS AND SOCIAL DIALOGUE. Respecting the involvement and functioning of institutions representing employees as well as the quality of the dialogue between the unions are balancing factors in social relations that have encouraged the development and performance of the Group’s entities. Management recognises the essential contribution to change management of these stakeholders in social dialogue in the company. The managers of the Crédit Agricole S.A. Group in all countries commit to create a free and open environment with regard to the exercising of rights to the freedom of association. The Group will take whatever measures are required to ensure that local management is aware of the meaning and the objectives of this agreement.

  • TRAINING AND EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT 9.1 The Employer and the Union recognize the value and benefit of education and training designed to enhance an employee’s ability to perform their job duties. Training and employee development opportunities will be provided to employees in accordance with college/district policies and available resources.

  • LABOUR MANAGEMENT BARGAINING RELATIONS 9.1 No employee or group of employees shall undertake to represent the Association at meetings with the Employer without the authority of the President or the General Secretary acting on behalf of the Association.

  • Trade Union Training Leave (a) Subject to all qualifications in this clause, an employee appointed or elected as an accredited representative of the union to which he/she belongs will, upon application in writing to the Enterprise, be granted up to 5 days leave with pay each calendar year non-cumulative to attend courses conducted or approved by the Union.

  • Transfer and Seniority Outside Bargaining Unit No employee shall be transferred to a position outside the bargaining unit without his consent. If an employee is transferred to a position outside of the bargaining unit, he shall retain his seniority accumulated up to the date of leaving the unit, but will not accumulate any further seniority. If such an employee returns to the bargaining unit within twelve (12) months, he shall be placed in a job consistent with his seniority. Such return shall not result in the layoff or bumping of an employee holding greater seniority.

  • Transfer and Seniority Outside the Bargaining Unit (a) It is understood that an employee shall not be transferred by the Hospital to a position outside the bargaining unit without his consent except in the case of temporary assignments not exceeding six (6) months. Such employees on temporary assignments shall remain members of the bargaining unit.

  • Definition of the Bargaining Unit 7 The County recognizes Local 88, AFSCME, hereinafter referred to as the 8 "Union", as the sole and exclusive bargaining representative for the purpose of 9 establishing salaries, wages, hours, fringe benefits, and working conditions for all 10 employees in the County classified service as set forth in MCC Chapter 9 except those 11 specifically excluded below. This unit shall be referred to as the "General Employees 12 Unit". County employees who are excluded from the bargaining unit are:

  • Labour Management Relations Committee 20.01 The parties recognize that a forum for ongoing discussions during the term of the Agreement can promote more harmonious labour relations between them.

  • Recognition of Union Stewards and Grievance Committee In order to provide an orderly and speedy procedure for the settling of grievances, the Employer acknowledges the rights and duties of the Union Stewards. The Xxxxxxx shall assist any Employee, which the Xxxxxxx represents, in preparing and presenting her grievance in accordance with the grievance procedure.
