Training and Scheduling a. The City shall use suitably trained City police department SROs in meeting its obligation herein, and will provide a physical presence at each location as much as possible each day students are present during the scheduled school year. Each assigned SRO will strive to be physically present throughout the week at their assigned campuses between 0730 to 1530 hours Monday through Friday, for regular school sessions and during normal classroom hours. In addition, the SRO’s will also visit their alternate schools as available one (1) to two (2) times throughout the week or as needed, to maintain rapport with staff and students. When the assigned SRO is not available, coverage will be provided by alternate SRO’s that work within the school district with the middle and high schools receiving priority within the school district, or patrol when no SRO is available.

Training and Scheduling. 1. The District will provide appropriate technical support and when feasible, the District will provide appropriate training. Faculty who have previously offered online classes or who have gained the necessary training and experience on their own are qualified to teach online classes.
