Training for Supervisors. The District shall ensure that each supervisor or 27 other appropriate District official responsible for determining whether reasonable 28 suspicion exists to require an employee to undergo testing shall receive at least 29 sixty (60) minutes of training on the misuse of alcohol and at least sixty (60) minutes 30 of training on the misuse of controlled substances.

Training for Supervisors. Upon promotion to the rank of Sergeant, and within the first year of the assignment, the promoted member shall, in addition to state mandated training, be required to successfully complete a first line supervisory course. In both the second and third years of this Agreement, all supervisory members shall receive a minimum of eight (8) hours of supervisory training in addition to the training mandated in Section 17.3.
Training for Supervisors. The City of Tonawanda shall ensure that all supervisors and other persons designated to determine whether reasonable suspicion exists to require a firefighter to undergo testing must receive a minimum of sixty (60) minutes of training on alcohol misuse and a minimum of sixty (60) minutes on controlled substance use. The training shall include the physical, behavioral, speech, and performance indicators of probable alcohol misuse and use of controlled substances. The training shall include an overview of the program requirements, disciplinary procedures, confrontation and documentation procedures, and rehabilitation and treatment options which are available through the City of Tonawanda Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

  • Training Plan 19.6.1 An apprentice shall be a party to an individual Training Plan. 19.6.2 The Training Plan sets out the training that the apprentice will do both on – the – job and off – the – job. The Training Plan also sets out how the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) will ensure the apprentice will receive quality training – both on – the – job and off – the – job. 19.6.3 The Training Plan reflects the choices made by the employer and the apprentice in relation to:-

  • Training Services Training Services may include pre-packaged training Products, and/or the development or customization of training programs as requested, including Live Training, Computer Based/Multi-Media Training which encompasses Internet-Delivered Training, and/or Video Based Training.

  • Training Program It is agreed that there shall be an Apprenticeship Training Program, the provisions of which are set forth in Exhibit "D", which is attached hereto and forms part of this Agreement.

  • CONTRACTOR SUPERVISION Contractor shall provide competent supervision of personnel employed on the job Site, use of equipment, and quality of workmanship.

  • WORK BY SUPERVISORS Supervisors and all other excluded employees will not work on any job for which rates are established by this agreement, except for the purpose of instruction, experimenting, safety or environ- mental reasons or when regular employees are not available.

  • Training Programs All employees shall successfully complete all necessary training prior to being assigned work (e.g., all employees will complete health and safety training prior to being assigned to task). Nothing in this Article or provision shall constitute a waiver of either party’s bargaining obligations or defenses. The Employer still has an obligation to notify and bargain changes in terms and conditions of employment with the exclusive representative.

  • Training a. The employer, in consultation with the local, shall be responsible for developing and implementing an ongoing harassment and sexual harassment awareness program for all employees. Where a program currently exists and meets the criteria listed in this agreement, such a program shall be deemed to satisfy the provisions of this article. This awareness program shall initially be for all employees and shall be scheduled at least once annually for all new employees to attend. b. The awareness program shall include but not be limited to: i. the definitions of harassment and sexual harassment as outlined in this Agreement; ii. understanding situations that are not harassment or sexual harassment, including the exercise of an employer's managerial and/or supervisory rights and responsibilities; iii. developing an awareness of behaviour that is illegal and/or inappropriate; iv. outlining strategies to prevent harassment and sexual harassment; v. a review of the resolution of harassment and sexual harassment as outlined in this Agreement; vi. understanding malicious complaints and the consequences of such; vii. outlining any Board policy for dealing with harassment and sexual harassment; viii. outlining laws dealing with harassment and sexual harassment which apply to employees in B.C.

  • Trainings Appointment of any length involving two (2) or more Consumers who might need to split up to join different trainings, group discussions, etc.

  • Quality Assurance The parties endorse the underlying principles of the Company’s Quality Management System, which seeks to ensure that its services are provided in a manner which best conforms to the requirements of the contract with its customer. This requires the Company to establish and maintain, implement, train and continuously improve its procedures and processes, and the employees to follow the procedures, document their compliance and participate in the improvement process. In particular, this will require employees to regularly and reliably fill out documentation and checklists to signify that work has been carried out in accordance with the customer’s specific requirements. Where necessary, training will be provided in these activities.

  • Training and Orientation (a) No employee shall be required to work on any job or operate any piece of equipment until he/she has received proper training and instruction. (b) The Employer shall provide sufficient and adequate training and/or orientation to any employee working in a new or unfamiliar work area or position.
