Physical Fitness Incentive. The Department offers an annual $300 incentive award to those members of the bargaining unit who successfully complete an annual physical fitness challenge course administered and proctored by the department each year. This physical fitness challenge course is based on the MCOLES sit-up, push-up and shuttle run standards. This program will be maintained as long as 50% or more of the bargaining unit members in the department participate in the program each year.

Physical Fitness Incentive. ‌ The City of Bloomington will pay upon receipt of membership verification one hundred and fifty dollars ($150) toward the annual dues at any physical fitness center designated by the City for any full-time or part-time employee covered by this Agreement.
Physical Fitness Incentive. The City and the Lodge hereby establish a Physical Fitness Incentive Program intended to encourage Employees to adopt and maintain healthier lifestyles and achieve and maintain higher levels of physical fitness, with the goals of enhancing officer and public safety and reducing injuries. The City and the Lodge shall form a committee in 2019 to review physical fitness programs in comparable police districts. The Chief shall determine which physical fitness standards the Department will adopt. The incentive will be implemented in 2020. B. Employees who participate in the Physical Fitness Incentive program and satisfy those standards adopted by the Chief will receive a monetary bonus of up to $500 each year, in amounts determined by the Chief, to be paid no later than the first pay in December of that year.
Physical Fitness Incentive. A. Employees in the bargaining unit may, on a voluntary basis, seek to become eligible for a physical fitness incentive. In order to be eligible for such incentive, an employee must sign a waiver which shall indemnify, defend and hold the employee, its officers, officials, agents and employees harmless against any claim, demand, suit or liability (monetary or otherwise) in connection with his efforts to qualify for such pay. An employee who seeks the physical fitness incentive must qualify and re-qualify at six-month intervals during the first half of the month of April and October in order to receive this incentive. B. An employee who qualifies by passing a 1.5 mile running test or a 3 mile walk, push-ups, and sit ups shall receive a physical fitness incentive in accordance with the following applicable charts:
Physical Fitness Incentive. The Chief of Police or his/her designee shall provide unit members one opportunity per year to participate in a physical ability test. The test shall be the State Physical Fitness Examination for certification as a Category I peace officer. Participation is strictly voluntary. Except as described below there will be no retest or makeup physical ability test for any unit member who is unable or unwilling to participate in the physical ability test on the date offered by the Chief of Police for any given year. Unit members who meet or exceed the physical fitness standards as laid out in the State Physical Fitness Examination shall be paid a stipend of $500 for the first year that they pass the test, $750 for the second year and $1,000.00 for the third year and every year thereafter in which they take and pass the test. The stipend will be paid within forty-five (45) days upon passing the physical ability test. Officers who have sustained injuries in the line of duty and are on a light duty status at the time that test is being administered shall be exempted from the physical ability test for that year. As long as the officer participated in the test and passed the previous year, during the successor year, if they are back to a full duty status then they may participate in the physical ability test. Should they pass the test as described herein, they shall receive the stipend amount from the previous year where they did not take the test, as well as, the stipend amount for having successfully passed the test in that current year. The administrator of the physical shall be Nevada POST certified in physical ability testing. There is no penalty for not participating in or not passing the physical ability test.
Physical Fitness Incentive. Parties agree to a voluntary physical fitness-testing program to be administered prior to October 31 of each year, using a testing/scoring standard established by Nevada P.O.S.T. Employees must attain a passing score in order to receive a $500.00 payment; such payment shall be made on the first payday in December. Employees participating in the voluntary physical fitness test shall be in full pay status during testing. There will be no reprisal or punitive action taken against an employee scoring less than the passing score on the test.

Physical Fitness Incentive. The Fire Department has established a voluntary physical fitness program. This program is designed to recognize members for achieving and maintaining physical fitness. The Department will offer an annual test during the month of October. Beginning in 2021, the annual test will be offered during the month of May. To be eligible to take the test, members must have documented a minimum of three (3) hours of physical activity each month, in the year prior to the test, and all Employees hired in the previous year will be eligible to take the test. Participation may only occur on-duty with the Employer’s permission. The test will be based on the Xxxxxx Aerobic Research Institute protocols and consist of the events listed in Table 33.6-1. Physical Fitness Incentive. (1) The parties hereby recognize that the physical fitness of employees vitally affects the efficient, safe and productive operation of the Department and the quality of police services provided to the public. Each employee is required to maintain the level of physical fitness necessary to perform the normal duties of his/her position. (2) The Department’s fitness test will be administered on a date to be determined by the Police Chief each year and all police officers covered by this agreement will be required to complete this test to the best of their ability. Those officers who pass the test in accordance with either section 3 a, b, c or d will be compensated as stipulated in the agreement. A medical release form will be submitted to the Chief or his/her designee by a date to be determined by the Chief. While the Department realizes that some officers may not be able to successfully meet all the requirements of the test, it expects those officers to participate to the best of their ability and to utilize all means available (Department’s fitness room or the Town’s Wellness Program) to improve their physical health and condition. Improvements in the following year’s test will be encouraged. (3) The Department test will be the Maine Criminal Justice Academy’s A.) Standards shall be compensated as follows: a) If all of the test requirements are passed, the employee shall receive $600 each year converted to an hourly rate of $.29 per hour and added to his/her hourly pay rate. If the employee fails the test requirements, this hourly rate will end. b) If an employee passes two (2) of the three (3) requirements, the employee shall receive $200 per year converted to an hourly rate of $.10 per hour and added to his/her hourly rate of pay. If the employee fails these test requirements, this stipend will end. c) If all of the test requirements are passed at an average of eighty
