Transfer from Bargaining Unit. If the employee is transferred to a non-bargaining unit position with the Employer and is thereafter transferred back to a position within the bargaining unit, the employee’s seniority shall include all time spent in the non-bargaining unit position. The Union acknowledges, however, that the Employer retains the sole right to determine the wages, hours and conditions of employment for all non-bargaining unit employees including the right of whether the employee can return to the bargaining unit.

Transfer from Bargaining Unit. Any employee who has heretofore been, or may be promoted or transferred any time in the future to any salary position to any job not included and/or covered by this Agreement, and who later returns to the bargaining unit of employees covered by this Agreement shall have seniority classification and plant-wide seniority accumulated and re-established.
