Transportation Design. This task includes design and preparation of documents for the 60%, 90%, and Final SAB project submittals. 1. Prepare erosion control plans and details for all fifteen (15) SAB projects 2. Prepare Temporary Protection and Direction of Traffic (TP&DT) plans and details for all fifteen (15) SAB projects 3. Transportation design elements may include pavement restoration, curb, sidewalk and or curb ramp reconstruction as needed to restore surfacing, following installation of stormwater improvements.  Transportation design elements will be included on the drainage plan/profile sheets as needed.  All fifteen (15) SAB projects will require Erosion Control plans  All fifteen (15) SAB projects will require TP&DT plans.  Retaining wall design will not be required for SAB projects.  Landscaping and irrigation design will not be included in the SAB projects.

Transportation Design. 1. Develop list of anticipated design exceptions to the 2023 City of Bend Standards and Specifications, specific to the Key Route Design features. Consultant to research National Publications to provide recommendations on the cross-section features that are deviations from the City’s Standard. This research will be documented in the memorandum developed in task 12.1.1. 2. Coordination with City and other Consultants on cross sectional elements on Portland Avenue west of the Deschutes River Bridge. 3. Develop the preliminary design documents, up to a 30% level, on Portland Avenue between the Deschutes River Bridge and Wall Street, to include a shared-use-path, buffered bike lanes and signing/striping improvements. 4. Prepare 30% level opinion of cost for the Project, based on the recommended cross section. 5. If project costs exceed available budgets, Consultant shall evaluate cost-reducing measures and develop project staging plan, for phased implementation of improvements. This effort will be summarized through a memorandum.

  • Transportation Transportation expenses include, but are not limited to, airplane, train, bus, taxi fares, rental cars, parking, mileage reimbursement, and tolls that are reasonably and necessarily incurred as a result of conducting State business.   • Transportation Allowance When an employee is required to travel to the Hospital or to return to her home as a result of reporting to or off work between the hours of hours, (other than reporting to or off work for her regular shift) or at any time while on standby, the Hospital will pay transportation costs either by taxi or by her own vehicle at the rate of thirty-five cents ($0.35) per mile (to a maximum of fourteen dollars ($14.00)) or such greater amount as the Hospital may in its discretion determine for each trip between the aforementioned hours.   • Transportation Reimbursement Employees who, during the course of their normal duties, are required to actually transport clients/consumers/felons in their own personal vehicle on a regular basis, are eligible for reimbursement for the cost of an automobile rider to their existing insurance policy. To be eligible for the reimbursement, the employee must demonstrate the following: 1. That he/she is normally required to transport clients/consumers/felons in the course of their duties. 2. That there is no access to or available State vehicles. 3. That public transportation cannot be used. 4. That their insurance company requires a special rider on their existing automobile policy. 5. Proof that such a rider has been purchased. 6. Proof of a valid driver’s license and insurance policy. By receiving such reimbursement, employees acknowledge that they may be required to use their own personal vehicle to transport clients/consumers/felons in the normal course of their duties. The reimbursement to such employee(s) is the actual cost of the rider not to exceed seventy-five dollars ($75) per year whichever is less. This reimbursement will be paid on a yearly basis in the pay period that includes July 1st. Employees who either resign, retire, or have their employment terminated during the year and employees who start during any part of the year will have the reimbursement prorated. In the case of employees who either retire, resign, or have their employment terminated will have that portion of the reimbursement repaid to the State, in the last paycheck.

  • TRANSPORT SERVICES Upon the conclusion of such multilateral negotiations, the Parties shall conduct a review for the purpose of discussing appropriate amendments to this Agreement so as to incorporate the results of such multilateral negotiations.
