Retaining Wall Design. The Consultant shall provide all necessary design effort required to produce a complete set of construction documents for a conventional retaining wall system. The Consultant shall also determine appropriate Proprietary Wall types from the FDOT FDM proprietary wall standards to the extent necessary to finalize the wall plans as described herein for proprietary wall systems. Retaining walls are anticipated at the following locations: At the County’s option, the Consultant shall obtain project specific retaining wall drawings from proprietary wall companies and incorporate these drawings into the contract document. Retaining Wall Design. 1.11.1. The Engineer shall determine if walls are required and verify the need for and length of the retaining walls. 1.11.2. The Engineer shall prepare a Retaining Wall Type and Cost report that documents the analyses comparing costs for each wall type and submit the report to the GEC. The Mobility Authority will approve this analysis prior to preparation of the retaining wall layouts.

Required foundation improvements (as applicable).
Retaining Wall Design. As a part of the Xxxx Xxxxxx team, AECOM will provide retaining wall design and construction document production services in support of the Phase 1 construction of the M-line bypass pipeline and the drainage channel relocation. The design of the walls, for both Phase 1 features, will require close coordination with the overall design team. Retaining Wall Design a) The Professional shall prepare contract plans, special provisions for the specifications, and opinion of probable cost for the construction of permanent and temporary retaining walls required for grade separation and intersection improvements at 126th Street, 131st Street, 141st Street, and 000xx Xxxxxx. The contract plans shall include Typical Retaining Wall Sections, Soil Borings Sheets, Retaining Wall Detail Sheets including retaining wall quantities, and Construction Details Sheets as necessary. The contract documents shall contain sufficient information to enable the contractor to perform the work tasks described below. (1) Permanent Retaining Walls Construct retaining walls using appropriate construction methods. These retaining walls are expected outside pavement edges along SR 37 to retain existing grades adjacent to the depressed roadway sections and along outside pavement edges of ramp lanes to contain construction limits within the existing right-of-way. Retaining walls may also be required in conjunction with bridge construction to provide for reduced span lengths. (2) Temporary Retaining Walls Install temporary retaining walls using appropriate cut wall (top-down construction) methods. These retaining walls are expected along the centerline of SR 37 in the first phases of traffic maintenance to generate the depressed section for one half of SR 37 while the other half is maintained at existing grades. These walls would then be removed in the later phases of traffic maintenance after the entire section of SR 37 is depressed.

Retaining Wall Design a. The Developer shall submit final retaining wall drawings to the Town Engineer for review and approval prior to construction. The wall drawings shall be prepared by a Colorado registered Professional Engineer. A global stability analysis, with sections cut through the series of tiered walls, must also be prepared to demonstrate the stability of the wall system and the hillside. b. The retaining wall system shall be constructed of Redi-Rock segmental block units utilizing the “LEDGESTONE” texture. The Developer shall submit a color sample of the proposed block material to the Town Engineer for approval prior to construction. The color shall be an earth tone in the beige/xxxxx color spectrum.
Retaining Wall Design. This task includes design at the 60%, 90% and final submittals and includes the following: ▪ Identify the required height and location of retaining walls from the roadway plan and profiles ▪ Prepare plan and profile sheets and detail sheets for each wall ▪ Up to four (4) minor walls less than four (4) feet in height will be required. ▪ Minor wall types are proprietary wall systems at four (4) feet or less in height and soil reinforcing is not required. ▪ Design calculations are not required for minor walls. ▪ Global stability issues do not exist at these locations ▪ Specific borings at minor wall locations are not included in this scope.

  • Secondary Systems The Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner shall each cooperate with the other in the inspection, maintenance, and testing of control or power circuits that operate below 600 volts, AC or DC, including, but not limited to, any hardware, control or protective devices, cables, conductors, electric raceways, secondary equipment panels, transducers, batteries, chargers, and voltage and current transformers that directly affect the operation of Developer or Connecting Transmission Owner’s facilities and equipment which may reasonably be expected to impact the other Party. The Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner shall each provide advance notice to the other Party, and to NYISO, before undertaking any work on such circuits, especially on electrical circuits involving circuit breaker trip and close contacts, current transformers, or potential transformers.

  • First Source Hiring Program Contractor must comply with all of the provisions of the First Source Hiring Program, Chapter 83 of the San Francisco Administrative Code, that apply to this Agreement, and Contractor is subject to the enforcement and penalty provisions in Chapter 83.

  • Access Toll Connecting Trunk Group Architecture 9.2.1 If CSTC chooses to subtend a Verizon access Tandem, CSTC’s NPA/NXX must be assigned by CSTC to subtend the same Verizon access Tandem that a Verizon NPA/NXX serving the same Rate Center Area subtends as identified in the LERG. 9.2.2 CSTC shall establish Access Toll Connecting Trunks pursuant to applicable access Tariffs by which it will provide Switched Exchange Access Services to Interexchange Carriers to enable such Interexchange Carriers to originate and terminate traffic to and from CSTC’s Customers. 9.2.3 The Access Toll Connecting Trunks shall be two-way trunks. Such trunks shall connect the End Office CSTC utilizes to provide Telephone Exchange Service and Switched Exchange Access to its Customers in a given LATA to the access Tandem(s) Verizon utilizes to provide Exchange Access in such LATA. 9.2.4 Access Toll Connecting Trunks shall be used solely for the transmission and routing of Exchange Access to allow CSTC’s Customers to connect to or be connected to the interexchange trunks of any Interexchange Carrier which is connected to a Verizon access Tandem.
