Travel Time and Subsistence. 3.1 The Employer shall pay traveling time on all work over thirty (30) miles past the city limits in which the shop is located, at the regular hourly rate, except where men are required to report to the "shop". In such event, travel time and transportation shall start at the shop. 3.2 Transportation to and from all out of town jobs will be provided by the Employer. 3.3 In cases where the employer is required to furnish transportation, the employer may, upon agreement of the employee, elect to rent the personal automobile of said employee for the purpose of transporting the car owner and other employees to and from said job. In such cases, in addition to travel time, the car owner will receive from the employer twenty-five (25) cents per mile to and from such job. The employer must carry non-ownership property damage and public liability insurance on any vehicle of an employee so used at the employer’s request. 3.4 Employer shall pay actual reasonable receipted expenses, for meals and lodging, in lieu of per deim, when the employee is required to remain overnight. 3.5 For the purpose of this article, the term “Out of town jobs” shall mean any job, which is over thirty miles past the city limits in which the shop is located.
Travel Time and Subsistence. All employees assigned work who are sent outside the primary, sub-primary or the Travel Zone for more than one day will be paid travel time and mileage on the day they are sent to or the day they are recalled from the job. On consecutive working days, on the same job, they will be paid per day subsistence as established in Section II, B, above. Subsistence shall be paid for weekends where the work continues into the next week as well as for any paid Holidays that fall during the work week. An employee who has started a job in the Subsistence area and who has a mutually agreed vacation planned (scheduled for not less than 5 days and a minimum of 30 days in advance) during the term of the assignment, shall receive Subsistence for Saturday and Sunday prior to the scheduled vacation.   • TRAVEL AND SUBSISTENCE 17.01 There shall be a free zone for employees working within a forty-five (45) kilometre radius of the Halifax County intersection of Provincial Highway, 101 and 102. Travel and subsistence allowance will not apply when travelling to and working within this free zone (17.01). 17.02 There shall be a forty-five (45) kilometre radius free zone around all projects outside the jurisdiction of Clause 17.01.

  • Travel Time Leave provided in paragraphs A and B of this Article shall apply to and cover actual and necessary travel to and from such meetings required during normal working hours on the day of the meeting or negotiations, except that MSEA-SEIU bargaining team members traveling 100 miles or more to negotiations shall be entitled to travel time outside of days of negotiations.

  • Subsistence Employees who are required to travel beyond a fifty (50) kilometer radius from the site or fifty (50) kilometres from their designated work area [where that work area exceeds a fifty (50) kilometre radius from their site] on business authorized by the Employer shall be reimbursed for expenses incurred as shown below, or in accordance with the Province of Alberta Regulations Governing Subsistence or Employer Policy, whichever is higher. (a) Meals (i) breakfast, if the time of departure is earlier or the time of return is later than zero seven thirty (0730) hours; or (ii) lunch, if the time of departure is earlier or the time of return is later than thirteen hundred (1300) hours; or (iii) supper, if the time of departure is earlier or the time of return is later than eighteen thirty (1830) hours.

  • Workday and Workweek The regular workweek of a full-time employee in the bargaining unit shall be forty (40) hours and shall consist of five (5) consecutive days of eight (8) hours per day.

  • Business and Travel Expenses Upon presentation of reasonable substantiation and documentation as the Company may specify from time to time, the Employee shall be reimbursed in accordance with the Company’s expense reimbursement policy, for all reasonable out-of-pocket business and travel expenses incurred and paid by the Employee during the Employment Term and in connection with the performance of the Employee’s duties hereunder.

  • Ancillary and Travel Expenses A. Except as otherwise provided in the Grant Agreement, no ancillary expenses incurred by the Grantee in connection with its provision of the services or deliverables will be reimbursed by the System Agency. Ancillary expenses include, but are not limited to, costs associated with transportation, delivery, and insurance for each deliverable. B.   • Subsistence Allowance a) In all instances the subsistence allowance per calendar day worked shall be as follows: Effective February 27, 2022 as determined by the quadrant subsistence review b) An Employee shall forfeit subsistence allowance for absenteeism or leaving work without written permission on any working day. When the Employee is absent or leaves work without written permission on the working day immediately preceding or following bad weather days or recognized holidays, they shall forfeit subsistence allowance for such absenteeism or leaving work without written permission and for the bad weather days or recognized holidays. The above forfeiture of subsistence allowance shall be waived when the Employee’s absenteeism on any working day is due to a bona fide illness or absence due to compassionate grounds satisfactory to the Employer and the Union Representative. Forfeiture of subsistence allowance may also be waived in other cases if the reason for absenteeism is acceptable to the Employer and the Union Representative. Written permission to leave work shall be in the form of the Leave of Absence Request form attached as Appendix “F” to this agreement. Upon a specific request by the Union, the Employer shall forward a copy of an Employee’s Leave of Absence Request form. It is not intended that such forms be requested by the Union for all Employees.

  • Travel time allowance All employees shall be paid an allowance (See Appendix A) for each day on which they present themselves for work. The allowance shall also be paid for rostered days off.

  • Work Day and Work Week The normal work day shall consist of up to 8 hours of work within a 24-hour period. The normal work week shall consist of up to 40 hours of work within a 7-day period. The Employer may define the work week on an individual, department, shift or facility basis in accordance with Federal and State law.

  • General Business Expenses The Company shall pay or reimburse the Executive for all expenses reasonably and necessarily incurred by the Executive during the Term in the performance of the Executive's services under this Agreement. Such payment shall be made upon presentation of such documentation as the Company customarily requires of its senior executive employees prior to making such payments or reimbursements.
