Out of Town JobsWhen an Employee is directed by his Employer not to return from the jobsite each day to the free zones about Vancouver or Victoria, the Employee shall be considered to be working on an out- of-town job.
Out of Town JobsThe Employer will provide reasonable transportation to and from the job; pay for meals and other necessary expenses during regular working hours; and pay for travelling time at the regular hourly rate. Where an Employee is required by their Employer, due to the location and duration of the job, to remain overnight out of town, the Employer shall provide for the cost of the room plus meals effective November 1, 2010, broken down as follows: Breakfast $ 8.00 Lunch $12.00 Dinner $20.00
Out of Town Jobs. A. All work performed outside the city limits shall be termed out of town work. B. Where the job length is one (1) day or less and the Employer provides the transportation: i. All employees will be paid straight time for all traveling time. ii. Meals will be the employee’s responsibility. C. Where the job length is one (1) day or less and the employee is requested by the Employer to use their own car: i. The employee will be paid straight time for all traveling time. ii. Where passengers travel in the employee’s car, they shall be paid straight time for all traveling time. iii. Meals will be the employee’s responsibility. D. Any employee using their own transportation when so requested by the Employer shall be paid forty three ($0.43) per kilometre for car mileage. Effective May 1, 2009 and for the balance of the life of this Agreement, the allowance shall be forty-five ($0.45) per kilometre. However, employees shall not be paid mileage when reporting directly to in-town job sites and their return at the end of the shift. E. Where an employee is required by the Employer, due to the location and duration of the job, to remain overnight out of town, the Employer shall provide for the cost of the room plus meals broken down as follows: Breakfast $ 8.00 Lunch $10.00 Dinner $20.00 If the traveling time be overnight, the Employer will provide a sleeping berth and/or hotel room and the employee will be paid at straight time for the hours spent traveling.
Out of Town Jobs. A. It shall be the sole prerogative of the Employer to rule on whether or not a particular job shall be classed out-of-town. If so, then this Article shall apply; if not, other appropriate Articles shall prevail. B. All Employees required on out-of-town jobs shall receive travel time pay, first-class transportation, board and lodging while travelling to and from the job. Where an Employee is required to drive a Company and/or his own vehicle to and/or from a jobsite, he shall be required to drive no more than ten (10) hours per day. Travel time shall be straight time, provided a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours’ notice prior to departure is given. Should Employees be required to travel without being given such minimum notice, travel time shall be double time. C. Board and lodging on the job shall be supplied by the Employer on a first-class seven (7) day a week basis. In construction camps, this shall mean conditions as provided for in the current Camp Rules of the B.C. & Yukon Building and Construction Trades Council. Otherwise, the Employer shall make board and lodging arrangements at established Class “A” hotels of any area (as rated by the B.C. Hotels’ Association). D. It is understood that if an Employee quits without just cause, or is discharged for just cause before the completion of the out-of-town job, the Employer shall not be compelled to furnish transportation or travelling time back to the point of departure. E. Any Employee who is living in accommodation provided by the Employer may, on any weekend vacate or check out of such accommodation and the Employer shall pay him a sum not less than twelve dollars ($12.00) per day check-out where accommodation is provided in camps, and fifteen dollars ($15.00) per day where accommodation is provided for those living in hotels, motels. If meal tickets are provided to Employees the Employee who intends to check out or vacate for the week-end must turn in his meal tickets to the Employer’s representative not later than 4:00 p.m. of the day preceding the check-out. In order to qualify for the foregoing provisions, the Employee must work the shift prior to the week-end or Statutory Holiday and the shift after the week-end or Statutory Holiday, unless mutually agreed between the Employee and the Employer’s representative. F. Locally hired personnel shall be subject to Union clearance but shall not be entitled to the foregoing provisions of this Article.
Out of Town Jobs. 17.01 The employer will provide reasonable transportation to and from the job; will pay for traveling time at standard hourly rates. If traveling time be overnight, the employer will provide a sleeping berth and/or hotel room and the employee shall be paid only for regular working hours spent in traveling at a standard hourly rate. The employee shall, with the Company’s permission, be allowed to work hours in excess of the regular working hours at regular rates. Overtime work especially requested by the Company or by the owner and approved by the Company, shall be paid for at the overtime rate. 17.02 Any employee using his own transportation when so requested by the Company shall be paid for car mileage as follows: $ 0.40/km Aug 01/07 $ 0.43/km Aug 01/08 $ 0.45/km Aug 01/09
Out of Town Jobs. (1) Travelling costs shall include allowance for first class meals and lodging i n the area where the Employee is working, the arrangements for which shall be at the discretion of the Employer, or alternatively, such meals and lodging w i l l be provided at a camp in accordance with camp conditions approved by the Building Trades Council. Each Employee who works out-of-town for a period exceeding five working days on one job w i l l be permitted one (1) weekly telephone call to his regular place of domicile as listed with his Employer, paid for at night rates, to a maximum of three (3) minutes duration, by the Employer. Such calls to be paid for by the Employee who w i l l receive reimbursement upon presentation of a receipt to his Employer. No payment w i l l be made in respect to return transportation or travel time an Employee quits when having completed less than fifteen (15) working days. Glaziers who are members of Local who are hired in the area of the project and are local residents, shall not entitled to transportation or travel time, or allowance meals and lodging. all jobs having a duration of more than five working days and staffed by a crew of three or more Employees, a meeting shall be held between the Supervisor and the lead hand. It further understood and agreed that i f an Employee travels to an out-of-town job and does not on the job until its completion or for a period of fifteen days, the cost of transportation and travel time to job shall be deducted from the Employee's final pay; this shall not apply the case of leave €or just cause.
Out of Town Jobs. Employees on the job out of town will be supplied with transportation home after two (2) weeks. Subject to availability of qualified personnel, employees assigned to out of town work or as temporary relief to other branches shall be rotated every two (2) weeks. Management will make every effort to distribute the out of town work equally amongst those employees who are able to perform the work to minimize the employee’s time away from home to not more than five (5) days in a thirty (30) day period.

  • PUBLIC RECORDS COMPLIANCE (APPLICABLE FOR SERVICE CONTRACTS Orange County is a public agency subject to Chapter 119, Florida Statutes. The Contractor agrees to comply with Florida’s Public Records Law. Specifically, the Contractor shall: 1. Keep and maintain public records required by Orange County to perform the service. 2. Upon request from Orange County’s custodian of public records, provide Orange County with a copy of the requested records or allow the records to be inspected or copied within a reasonable time at a cost that does not exceed the cost provided in this chapter or as otherwise provided by law. 3. Ensure that public records that are exempt or confidential and exempt from the public records disclosure requirements are not disclosed except as authorized by law for the duration of the contract term and following completion of the contract if the Contractor does not transfer the records to Orange County. 4. Upon completion of the contract, Contractor agrees to transfer at no cost to Orange County all public records in possession of the Contractor or keep and maintain public records required by Orange County to perform the service. If the Contractor transfers all public record to Orange County upon completion of the contract, the Contractor shall destroy any duplicate public records that are exempt or confidential and exempt from public records disclosure requirements. If the Contractor keeps and maintains public records upon completion of the contract, the Contractor shall meet all applicable requirements for retaining public records. All records stored electronically must be provided to Orange County, upon request from Orange County’s custodian of public records, in a format that is compatible with the information technology systems of Orange County. 5. A Contractor who fails to provide the public records to Orange County within a reasonable time may be subject to penalties under section 119.10, Florida Statutes. 6.   • Design Criteria and Standards All Projects/Services shall be performed in accordance with instructions, criteria and standards set forth by the Director.

  • Payment for Labor and Materials (a) Borrower will promptly pay when due all bills and costs for labor, materials, and specifically fabricated materials ("LABOR AND MATERIAL COSTS") incurred in connection with the Property and never permit to exist beyond the due date thereof in respect of the Property or any part thereof any lien or security interest, even though inferior to the liens and the security interests hereof, and in any event never permit to be created or exist in respect of the Property or any part thereof any other or additional lien or security interest other than the liens or security interests hereof except for the Permitted Encumbrances. (b) After prior written notice to Lender, Borrower, at its own expense, may contest by appropriate legal proceeding, promptly initiated and conducted in good faith and with due diligence, the amount or validity or application in whole or in part of any of the Labor and Material Costs, provided that (i) no Event of Default has occurred and is continuing under the Loan Agreement, the Note, this Security Instrument or any of the other Loan Documents, (ii) Borrower is permitted to do so under the provisions of any other mortgage, deed of trust or deed to secure debt affecting the Property, (iii) such proceeding shall suspend the collection of the Labor and Material Costs from Borrower and from the Property or Borrower shall have paid all of the Labor and Material Costs under protest, (iv) such proceeding shall be permitted under and be conducted in accordance with the provisions of any other instrument to which Borrower is subject and shall not constitute a default thereunder, (v) neither the Property nor any part thereof or interest therein will be in danger of being sold, forfeited, terminated, canceled or lost, and (vi) Borrower shall have furnished the security as may be required in the proceeding, or as may be reasonably requested by Lender to insure the payment of any contested Labor and Material Costs, together with all interest and penalties thereon.

  • Service Level Standards In addition to all other requirements in this Agreement, and in accordance with the Best Claims Practices & Estimating Guidelines, Vendor shall use reasonable and good faith efforts to meet the Service Level Standards set forth below.
