Two Hour Delay. On days that students and/or staff are to report later or leave earlier, Bargaining Unit Members will be paid for the actual number of hours worked. Aides – Report at regular time and work regular hours Building Managers – Report at regular time and work regular hours Bus Drivers – Report 2 hours later in the AM and proceed with routes as usual. No midmorning run. Cooks/Cashiers – If breakfast/lunch is on a delayed schedule, report the same number of minutes prior to the delayed lunch time as you would prior to the regular lunch time and work regular number of hours. Crossing Guard – Report 2 hours later in the AM and work hours as usual Custodians – Report at regular time and work regular hours Secretaries – Report at regular time and work regular hours Classified staff should check with the building principals for direction as to duties during the delay time. In the event a calamity day is called prior to the delayed start of school, classified employees may be released for the remainder of the day and will be paid their regularly scheduled hours for the day at their regular rate of pay. If the building principal and/or superintendent requires an employee to stay, (s)he will be paid the first two hours at one and one half times their regular rate of pay if they work the full day.

  • Operation Delays STATE shall have the authority to delay or suspend the operations of PURCHASER and contractors of PURCHASER, wholly or in part, under this contract for such period or periods necessary due to fire hazard conditions, severe weather occurrence, surveying for threatened or endangered species listed under the state or federal Endangered Species Act, or any other activity STATE determines to be necessary for identification, management, or protection of a threatened or endangered species. PURCHASER agrees to cooperate with surveying efforts of STATE or its contractors. In no event shall STATE be liable for any costs incurred by PURCHASER by reason of delay or suspension under this section, including but not limited to costs of additional move-in/move-out of equipment and personnel, extra fire and equipment security, and insurance or bonding expenses.

  • Concurrent Delay When the completion of the Work is simultaneously delayed by an excusable delay and a delay arising from a cause not designated as excusable, Contractor may not be entitled to a time extension for the period of concurrent delay.

  • Payment Delay Notwithstanding any other terms of this Agreement, no payments will be made to CONTRACTOR until COUNTY is satisfied that work of such value has been rendered pursuant to this Agreement. However, COUNTY will not unreasonably withhold payment and, if a dispute exists, the withheld payment shall be proportional only to the item in dispute.

  • Twelve Hour Shifts Employees shall be entitled, subject to exigencies of patient care and/or departmental requirements, to rest periods during the shift of a total of forty-five (45) minutes.

  • Weekend Work (a) Overtime work on Saturday shall be paid for at the rate of time and a half (1.5) for the first two (2) hours and double time thereafter, provided that all overtime worked after 12 noon on Saturday shall be paid for at the rate of double time.

  • Four Day Work Week Schedule i. When working under the four (4) day work week schedule, Employees shall be paid at double time (2x) the regular hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of the regular ten (10) hours per day Monday through Thursday.

  • Holiday Work Employees who work on a holiday shall receive one and one-half (1-1/2) times their straight time regular rate of pay for all hours actually worked on the holiday, plus holiday pay.

  • Standard Workweek Except as noted below the standard workweek for full-time employees consists of five (5) consecutive eight (8) hour days, Monday through Friday each week. Non-overtime hours and starting and quitting times for such employees shall be the same throughout the standard workweek. The standard workweek does not apply to the following:

  • Four Day Work Week 26 1. If a holiday falls on an employee's first or second scheduled day 27 off, the preceding work day will be observed as that employee's holiday, or the 28 employee may choose to bank the holiday leave hours.

  • Waiver or Delay No failure to exercise or delay by a party in exercising any right, power, or remedy under this License Agreement operates as a waiver of such right, power, or remedy. A single or partial exercise of any right, power, or remedy does not preclude any other or further exercise of that or any other right, power, or remedy. A waiver is not valid or binding on the party granting the waiver unless made in writing.
