UNIFORMS AND MILEAGE. 19.01 The employer shall provide a one hundred fifty dollar ($200) a year uniform allowance for each employee. Employees will be allowed to use this allowance to purchase work shoes providing uniforms are in acceptable condition as determined by the principal. Shirts will be purchased from a source specified by the District, but the employee may select the source from which the dark blue trousers will be obtained. When a uniform is issued to an employee who does not stay in the employment of the school district for one (1) year, the cost of the uniform shall be deducted from the employee's paycheck. Substitute custodians shall be provided one district custodial t-shirt. 19.02 Employees required in the regular performance of their work to use their personal vehicle to travel between various work locations, shall be paid at the established rate of reimbursement.

Employees will be allowed to use this allowance to purchase work shoes, inclement weather gear, Bobcat shirts/sweatshirts or any other clothing that is necessary for employees to perform their duties safely; undergarments are exempt from allowable items. When a uniform allowance is issued to an employee who does not stay in the employment of the school district for one (1) year, the cost of the uniform shall be deducted from the employee’s paycheck. Substitute facilities workers shall be provided one district work shirt. 19.02 Employees required in the regular performance of their work to use their personal vehicle to travel between various work locations, shall be paid at the established rate of reimbursement.

The employer shall provide a two hundred ($200) credit for employees at the Runnings store in Brookings, South Dakota for employees to purchase work pants, shoes, boots, and coats. The employer will also provide a seventy ($70) credit account for employees at the Brookings Engraving store in Brookings, South Dakota, for employees to either purchase Brookings shirts or sweatshirts. Substitute custodians shall be provided one district custodial t-shirt. 19.02 Employees required in the regular performance of their work to use their personal vehicle to travel between various work locations, shall be paid at the established rate of reimbursement.

  • Uniforms The Employer shall supply and maintain uniforms for employees who are required to wear same.

  • Uniforms and Protective Clothing 29.1 Where the employer requires an employee to wear a uniform, it shall be provided free of charge, but shall remain the property of the employer. 29.2 Suitable protective clothing shall be provided at the employer's expense where the duty involves a risk of excessive soiling or damage to uniforms or personal clothing or a risk of injury to the employee.

  • Uniform Allowance ‌ If the Employer requires an employee to supply and/or maintain specified clothing in place of a uniform which would otherwise be supplied and maintained for jobs involving the direct care of patients/residents, then a clothing/maintenance allowance of ten dollars ($10.00) per bi-weekly pay period shall be paid. This allowance does not apply to non-patient/non-resident areas.

  • Mileage Any employee in the bargaining unit required to use his/her vehicle on District business shall be reimbursed at the per mile rate allowed by the IRS. The mileage computation shall include mileage necessary to return to the employee's normal job site after completion of District business. This amount shall be payable in a separate warrant drawn against District funds within thirty (30) working days of submission of the claim by the employee in the bargaining unit.

  • Food Although food may be served at a program being paid for with grant or local match funds, the food may not be purchased with grant or matching funds.

  • Compassionate Leave (1) An employee is entitled to take up to 2 days’ paid compassionate leave on each occasion that a member of his or her immediate family or a member of his or her household: (a) contracts or develops an illness that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or (b) sustains an injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or

  • Cafeteria Tenant shall continue to operate the cafeteria located on the first floor of the Building, as indicated, on Exhibit “F” attached hereto being the northeast and southeast quadrants of the first floor, through the Expiration Date of the Lease. Tenant agrees to allow the employees, customers and/or vendors of Landlord and other tenants in the Building to utilize the cafeteria services in the Building, in accordance with Tenant’s policies associated with the cafeteria usage. Until June 30, 2005, Tenant will continue its contract with its existing vendor to operate the cafeteria. If there is an operating loss with respect to the cafeteria, Tenant will submit an invoice with evidence setting forth the operating losses of the cafeteria to Landlord. Landlord shall reimburse Tenant upon receipt of the invoice and adequate evidence demonstrating the operating loss (without markup) within thirty (30) days. If Tenant fails to operate the cafeteria, Landlord shall be permitted to contract directly with Aramark or a cafeteria vendor of Landlord’s choice to operate the cafeteria. Notwithstanding the foregoing, prior to the Landlord operation or New Tenant or any other tenant in the future utilizing the cafeteria, the Landlord and New Tenant ,and any other tenant will be required to enter into an indemnity agreement with Tenant under terms and conditions required by Tenant (the “Indemnification Agreement”). New Tenant and any other tenant in the future shall provide evidence of general liability insurance in amounts as required by Tenant, naming Tenant as an additional insured as its interest may appear. Landlord shall also provide evidence to Tenant of an A+ rated commercial general liability insurance policy which encompasses the cafeteria with limits at the minimum of $2,000,000.00 per occurrence, naming Tenant as an additional insured.

  • Sick Leave Verification Process a. The new school district shall provide the employee with the necessary verification form at the time the employee receives confirmation of employment in the school district. b. An employee must initiate the sick leave verification process and forward the necessary verification forms to the previous school district(s) within ninety (90) days of commencing employment with the new school district. c. The previous school district(s) shall make every reasonable effort to retrieve and verify the sick leave credits which the employee seeks to port.
