Work Shoes Sample Clauses
Work Shoes. All employees are required to furnish safety work shoes as per OSHA rules.
Work Shoes. The Town shall reimburse an employee up to a maximum of one hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00) per year for work shoes/boots. The employee will choose the shoe/boot. All required corresponding receipts must be submitted to the Superintendent of Highways prior to reimbursement.
Work Shoes. As a means of promoting the safety of its workers, the University will provide bargaining unit employees with a pair of work shoes to be worn whenever they are performing work for the University. The University, within its sole discretion, will select the work shoes to be worn and determine the circumstances and frequency with which those shoes may be replaced. At the request of the University, employees shall attend a shoe fitting. The University will seek to accommodate any special footwear needs that are attributable to a known and documented health or medical condition of an employee. A bargaining unit employee may request to be exempted from this provision by submitting a written request to management on a form provided by Dining Services and by providing supporting documentation that shows to the satisfaction of the University that the footwear selected by and purchased independently by the employee meets all safety and appearance standards imposed or established by the University.
Work Shoes. 1. Each covered employee shall be entitled to replacement of his/her work shoes whenever they become unserviceable. This determination shall be made by the Department Director or his/her designee.
2. The maximum amount available for any one pair of shoes shall be $175 unless pre- approval is received from the Department Director based upon job requirements and determination that the employee cannot obtain adequate footwear under $175. Under no circumstances shall the amount exceed $200.
3. The City and AFSCME shall jointly develop and implement a work shoe credit program with a local vendor.
4. Work shoes shall be considered an item of work clothing and part of their personal protective equipment.
5. Work shoes shall meet safety footwear requirements for an employee’s specific work assignment.
6. Specialty work shoes for the Tree Trimmer to be provided by the department if determined to be necessary by the Director.

The District will pay to each bargaining unit member the cost, up to a maximum of $ 150 annually, for the purchase of work shoes, upon provision of a receipt for purchase of the same to the District. Upon provision to the District of a note from a physician that a bargaining unit member cannot wear work shoes, the District will pay the cost up to a maximum of $150 annually to an employee, upon provision of a receipt, for purchase of equivalent footwear for work.
Work Shoes. Each worker shall be allowed up to one hundred fifty ($150) per year for pairs of Town-approved work shoes beginning on January 1, 2010, payable upon the submission of a voucher and receipt for such shoes.
Work Shoes. The Board may elect to require employees to wear appropriate work shoes as determined by the administration, provided the Board shall reimburse the employee for the cost of such work shoes up to $158.04.
Work Shoes. Where work shoes or other special footwear are required, such footwear shall be supplied by the employee, who shall be reimbursed an amount up to the average retail sale price for a standard pair of such footwear. In the event such footwear wears out or is damaged, such shall be replaced by the employee who shall be reimbursed by the Employer in accordance with the formula referred to above, provided that the wear or damage has been shown to the Employer prior to replacement, and provided further that such damage is not due to the employee's negligence.
Work Shoes. Section 1 The Town shall provide up to one hundred and fifty dollars ($150) per year toward the purchase of steel toe and/or composite toe safety shoes for each employee.
Section 2 Payment for workplace safety shoes as set forth in Section 1 above shall be on a reimbursement basis.
