Union and Employee Responsibility. This Agreement is binding for every Employee in the bargaining unit. Each Employee, individually and collectively, accepts full responsibility for carrying out all the provisions of this Agreement. The Union agrees that it shall actively dissuade absenteeism and tardiness, all forms of illegal harassment, and any other practices which may hamper the City's operation. The Union will support the City's efforts to eliminate waste and inefficiency, to improve the quality of work, and to promote harmonious relations between the City and Employees. The Union shall make every effort to see that Employees obey all City workplace policies, procedures, rules, and instructions which are not inconsistent with the terms of this Agreement.

Union and Employee Responsibility. The Union agrees to do its utmost to see that the employees perform their respective duties under the terms of this Agreement, and will use its best endeavors to protect the interest of the Employer to conserve the resources of the taxpaying public and to provide service of the highest quality. Protecting the Employer’s interest includes, without limitation, ensuring workplace productivity and fulfilling all job responsibilities. In particular, it is explicitly understood that employees will report customer complaints concerning other employees to C-XXXX and maintain confidentiality as required.

  • Employee Responsibility Each employee is responsible for the care and maintenance of such equipment. The Company retains the right to inspect the equipment at any time and to require the employee to provide an accounting of any loss or abuse.

  • Employee Responsibilities 1. Employees are responsible for notifying their department of an absence prior to the commencement of their work shift or as soon thereafter as possible. Notification shall include the reason and possible duration of the absence.

Any appraisal of the Programme undertaken before or after its approval by the FMC, does not in any way diminish the responsibility of the National Focal Point and the Programme Operator to verify and confirm the correctness of the documents and information forming the basis of the programme agreement.

  • Your Responsibility for Errors You understand that we must rely on the information you provide, and you authorize us to act on any instruction which has been or reasonably appears to have been sent by you and to submit funds transfer instructions on your behalf. You understand that financial institutions receiving the funds transfer instructions may rely on such information. We are not obliged to take any further steps to confirm or authenticate such instructions and will act on them without getting further confirmation. You understand that if you provide us with incorrect information or if there is any error in your instruction, we will make all reasonable efforts to reverse or delete such instructions, but you accept full responsibility for losses resulting from any of your errors, duplication, ambiguities or fraud in the information that you provide. You agree not to impersonate any person or use a name that you are not authorized to use. If any information you provide is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, without limiting other remedies, Bank reserves the right to recover from you any costs or losses incurred as a direct or indirect result of the inaccurate or incomplete information.

  • CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY FOR EMPLOYEES The Contractor shall be responsible for the professional and technical competence of its employees and will select, for work under this Contract, reliable individuals who will perform effectively in the implementation of this Contract, respect the local customs, and conform to a high standard of moral and ethical conduct.
