Unused Vacation Payout. When an Employee is authorized to forego all or part of a scheduled vacation in a year, and it is not possible to reschedule or carry over this vacation time, then the Employee shall be paid out for those days outstanding as of the end of the year in a lump sum no later than the end of the month following the end of the vacation year.

Unused Vacation Payout. An employee who does not wish to receive their vacation pay on a “pay as you go” basis will have the option of receiving their vacation pay as a lump sum payment. An employee must notify the Company via the Company’s timekeeping system no later than January 31 of each year of their intent to receive vacation pay as a lump sum payment. The Company will distribute all lump sum vacation pay checks on or about the last pay day in February 2024, 2025, 2026, 2027, and 2028. On or about December 15th of each calendar year, any employee who has unused vacation will be paid for that vacation eligibility at the employee’s base wage rate, including shift premium, in effect at the time of the payout. In the event an employee takes their unused vacation after the vacation payout, they may take that vacation but will receive no additional pay.
Unused Vacation Payout. Regardless of whether you sign this Transition Agreement or a release, you will receive pay for all accrued but unused vacation earned through your separation date in a lump sum at the conclusion of the next payroll cycle following your separation date. Outstanding Expense Reimbursement Any outstanding expense reports must be received within thirty (30) days from your separation date for reimbursement to occur.

  • Vacation Days Employee shall be entitled to the same paid vacation days each calendar year during the term of this Employee Agreement as authorized by the Company for its other employees.

  • Time Off The company recognises that sufficient time off to attend to personal matters and for recreation are important to the employee’s wellbeing, job satisfaction and overall productivity. Accordingly, time off may be taken with the consent of the Company, which shall not be unreasonably withheld. In considering the approval to have time off, the Parties will have regard to the current works programme and the urgency of the reason for time off. In the event that time off is to be taken, it will be the employee’s obligation to advise the Company in advance or as soon as practicable on the day of absence, recognising that unplanned absences can cause costly disruption to programmed works and are a major source of annoyance for the company, other employees and clients. The object of offering flexible working hours is that in return employees will take very seriously their obligation to turn up when they are expected. In view of the disruption caused by unplanned and or notified absenteeism, repeated failure to observe the protocol for time off would constitute misconduct.
