Use of Vacation/Lieu Time Entitlements. 11A.17 An employee absent because of illness or injury who has exhausted his/her IIP days and capped sick pay credits, if any, may use any vacation entitlement or lieu time owing as IIP days. In that case, the vacation or lieu time will be treated as IIP days and the provisions of this Article will apply.

  • Use of Vacation Leave A. Vacation Accruals earned at the end of the month are available for use the 1st of the following month.

  • Sick Leave Entitlement A full-time employee shall earn sick leave credits at the rate of one and one-quarter (1¼) days for each month of service in which pay was received for at least ten (10) days. Sick leave shall accumulate to a maximum of two hundred and fifty (250) days. A part-time employee shall be entitled to sick leave credits on a pro rata basis. Where an employee is absent from work because of illness or injury the employee shall be entitled to claim sick leave at her regular rate of pay for a maximum period equivalent to her accumulated sick leave credit.

  • Time of Vacation (a) All vacation earned during one (1) vacation year shall be taken during the next following vacation year at a mutually agreeable time.
