Vacations - When Granted. Vacations will be granted throughout the year, where possible, at a time requested by the employee and provided that the needs of the Department are recognized and approval can be given. Where approval cannot be given, upon request, the employee shall be given reasons for the refusal. If requested by the employee, a meeting can be convened with the employee and the faculty HR Officer to review the reasons and, where possible, seek a potential resolution.
