Verification of Coverage and Acceptability of Insurers. The CONTRACTOR shall place insurance with insurers licensed to do business in the State of Washington and having A.M. Best Company ratings of no less than A-, with the exception that excess and umbrella coverage used to meet the requirements for limits of liability or gaps in coverage need not be placed with insurers or re-insurers licensed in the State of Washington.

Verification of Coverage and Acceptability of Insurers. All insurance required under this Contract shall be issued by companies authorized to do business under the laws of the State of Washington that have an A.M. Best's rating of at least A-VII or better in the most recently published edition of Best’s Reports. Any exception to this requirement must be reviewed and approved in writing by the Xxxxxx County Risk Manager. If an insurer is not admitted to do business within Washington State, all insurance policies and procedures for issuing the insurance policy must comply with Chapter 48.15 RCW and Chapter 284-15 WAC.

  • Acceptability of Insurance Insurance is to be placed with insurers acceptable to the City’s Risk Manager.

  • Acceptability of Insurers Insurance is to be placed with insurers with a current A.M. Best rating of not less than A:VII.

  • Verification of Coverage Prior to beginning any work under this Agreement, Consultant shall furnish City with certificates of insurance and with original endorsements effecting coverage required herein. The certificates and endorsements for each insurance policy are to be signed by a person authorized by that insurer to bind coverage on its behalf. The City reserves the right to require complete, certified copies of all required insurance policies at any time.

  • Certification of Coverage Engineer shall furnish County with a certification of coverage issued by the insurer. Engineer shall not cause any insurance to be canceled nor permit any insurance to lapse. In addition to any other notification requires set forth hereunder, Engineer shall also notify County, within twenty-four (24) hours of receipt, of any notices of expiration, cancellation, non-renewal, or material change in coverage it receives from its insurer.

  • Additional Insured Status and Scope of Coverage The County of Los Angeles, its Special Districts, Elected Officials, Officers, Agents, Employees and Volunteers (collectively County and its Agents) shall be provided additional insured status under Contractor’s General Liability policy with respect to liability arising out of Contractor’s ongoing and completed operations performed on behalf of the County. County and its Agents additional insured status shall apply with respect to liability and defense of suits arising out of the Contractor’s acts or omissions, whether such liability is attributable to the Contractor or to the County. The full policy limits and scope of protection also shall apply to the County and its Agents as an additional insured, even if they exceed the County’s minimum Required Insurance specifications herein. Use of an automatic additional insured endorsement form is acceptable providing it satisfies the Required Insurance provisions herein.

  • Termination of Coverage This Contract may be terminated as follows:

  • Evidence of Coverage The Contractor shall, upon request by DSHS, submit a copy of the Certificate of Insurance, policy, and additional insured endorsement for each coverage required of the Contractor under this Contract. The Certificate of Insurance shall identify the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services as the Certificate Holder. A duly authorized representative of each insurer, showing compliance with the insurance requirements specified in this Contract, shall execute each Certificate of Insurance. The Contractor shall maintain copies of Certificates of Insurance, policies, and additional insured endorsements for each subcontractor as evidence that each subcontractor maintains insurance as required by the Contract.

  • Proof of Insurance Coverage As preliminary evidence of compliance with the insurance required by the contract, the company will furnish the Authority with a certificate(s) of insurance satisfactory to the Authority. This certificate must be signed by an authorized representative of the insurer.
