Veterinary Services a. Unless any such procedure is deemed unsuitable by an ASPCA veterinarian, all animals brought to the ASPCA, either directly or through the ASPCA transport system, pursuant to this Agreement will be spayed or neutered, tattooed, and vaccinated against rabies (if no proof of a current rabies vaccine is provided and such vaccination is deemed medically appropriate).
b. All cats in traps will be ear-tipped at the time of surgery.
c. All animals will be tattooed at the time of surgery.
d. Friendly animals will receive a complimentary nail trim.
e. If an animal experiences post-operative complications requiring follow-up care as a direct result of veterinary services, you must contact the Call Center at 877-SPAY-NYC. The Call Center will determine whether you will be reimbursed for post-operative expenses. If such authorization for reimbursement is given, the ASPCA will, in its discretion, either cover such additional costs directly or reimburse you for out-of-pocket costs you incur to provide that care.
i. Post-operative expenses will not be reimbursed by the ASPCA unless you have received advance authorization from the Call Center at 877-SPAY-NYC. You must receive advance authorization from the Call Center even if you are bringing an animal to the ASPCA Animal Hospital.
ii. Transportation costs to and from any follow-up care facility, including one of the ASPCA mobile clinics, are always your responsibility and will not be covered by the ASPCA.
iii. Should you fail to follow the aftercare protocol provided to you by the ASPCA when you retrieve your animal(s) from the ASPCA, the ASPCA will not ordinarily provide reimbursement of any post-operative expenses.
f. Medication will only be dispensed to you by the ASPCA with the explicit authorization of an ASPCA veterinarian and will be provided solely to animals that have been or are currently being treated by the ASPCA. The dispensation of medication will be in the sole discretion of the ASPCA.
g. Any dog or cat determined to be already spayed or neutered prior to sedation will not receive any services.
h. If a dog or cat is sedated, and it is discovered that he or she has been already spayed or neutered, services requested will be provided (including ear tip for feral cats), but the animal will not receive a tattoo.
i. If you request that the ASPCA performs, or does not perform, any procedure or takes, or does not take, any action that is against veterinary medical advice, you will be required to sign an “Agains...
Veterinary Services. ARE shall utilize licensed veterinary services for the care of impounded injured and sick animals.
Veterinary Services. 6.6.1 Staff access to reduced fee or free Veterinary Services are outlined under the Policy “Staff Access to Veterinary Services”.
Veterinary Services. Contractor shall provide all animals in Contractor’s custody with proper veterinary care using one of the Contractor’s veterinary partners at the sole discretion and expense of Contractor.
Veterinary Services. In the event Pet becomes ill, injured or requires veterinary care in Pet Resort’s sole and absolute discretion, owner hereby authorizes Pet Resort to obtain veterinary care for Pet. In the event Pet becomes ill, injured or requires veterinary care, Pet Resort may, in its sole and absolute discretion depending on the matter, attempt to contact Owner. If Pet Resort is unable to contact Owner, then Pet Resort shall obtain for Pet veterinary care, to the extent as is deemed necessary or desirable in treatment of Pet, and shall reimburse Pet Resort for any and all fees and expenses disbursed on Pet and Owner’s behalf or at Pet Resort’s direction forward such payment directly to Veterinarian. Owner agrees and allows medical records and/or history to be released to the Pet Resort.
Veterinary Services. The Company will provide veterinary services as necessary at no cost to the Independent Grower. The veterinarian shall be selected solely by the Company. The Company retains title to any medication that is left on Independent Grower’s farm.
Veterinary Services. Veterinary services must be available to impounded City animals during normal business hours. In the event a veterinarian is required to perform routine or emergency medical services for any sick or injured animal delivered to the facility, the charge to the owner of said animal shall be accordance with the fee schedule set forth in Contractor’s Proposal.
