Work in Other Classifications. When an employee is requested to do work in a higher rated classification, he/she shall receive the higher rate of pay for the entire day in which such work is performed. When an employee is requested to work in a lower rated classification, he/she shall receive his/her regular rate of pay for all such lower rated work performed. The Employer may utilize employees interchangeably in the various classifications.
Work in Other Classifications. No employee shall suffer a reduction in wages as a result of the exe- cution of this Agreement, and if such employee is receiving a greater amount, he shall receive the same increases as other employees.

(1) When an employee commences work in a different classification the employee shall be placed at the bottom of the classification seniority list at that time. (2) From the day they first work in the new classification, the employee will be credited with placement into the classification seniority list.
