Visiting Teachers. The contractual arrangements outlined in TP21 apply equally to Visiting Teachers in the Expressive Arts. This will mean that the total time which these teachers can commit contractually to class teaching is 22.5 hours. The way in which the work of Visiting Teachers of Art, Music and PE is structured means that there is a need, on some occasions, for the Class Teacher to work alongside these subject specialists for part of the time. Schools are therefore encouraged to create some non-class contact time for Class Teachers by releasing them from teaching duties when the class is being taken by a Visiting Specialist.
Visiting Teachers a. A core group of designated Visiting Teachers shall be trained on the provision of quality online learning services on August 24 & 25, 2020; employees shall be paid the workshop rate identified in Appendix A to participate in this training.
b. The base pay for the core group of Visiting Teachers shall be the Established Day-to-Day Visiting Teacher rate found in Appendix D, Section 2.01 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement for confirmed jobs in the substitute management system. Visiting teachers not designated as part of the core group will be paid pursuant to Appendix D.
i. The core group of Visiting Teachers shall be eligible for the Long-Term rate of pay if individuals in the core group of Visiting Teachers become eligible by virtue of working the requisite consecutive number of days.
c. For short term assignments, visiting teachers shall be provided with instructional materials/lessons by the certificated employee who is absent. The absent certificated employee shall not be required to provide their personal district login or passwords to district suite of web applications/systems.

Each school year, the Department and Oklahoma school districts will cooperate with the Ministry in the selection of a number of qualified teachers from Spain who may be hired under local contract in elementary, middle and/or secondary classrooms in school districts in Oklahoma should school districts choose to make application or apply for the Visiting Teacher Program with Spain.
II.1.1.- The Department, in collaboration with the Ministry, will assist with the assignment of teachers from Spain who are specially qualified to teach in bilingual programs and/or teach Spanish language and culture.

Visiting Teachers. The on-call requirement is compensated for in the “Effective 1 January 2023 Salary”. In determining the amount of that salary that is compensation for a Visiting Teacher making themself available to perform work under the availability provision of the Collective Agreement, parties gave regard to the matters under section 67D(6) of the Employment Relations Act 2000. In addition, gave regard to the varying operations of current Home-Based Networks. Including, the varying frequency and duration of on-call requirements for current Visiting Teacher and if the employee is remunerated by way of salary, the amount of the salary.
