WAGE GRADES a. The wage grades set forth in Appendix “D” shall be effective the first day of the first pay period in January 2018: b. On the first pay period in October 2018, 2019 and 2020, employees shall automatically proceed to the next step in the wage grades set forth in Appendix “D”. The step increase in October 2018 shall be paid retroactive to the first payroll period in October 2018.
WAGE GRADES. Employees employed under the provisions of this Agreement shall be graded on a scale from Operator Grade 1 to Operator Grade 15, or as Officer Grade 1 to Officer Grade 5, depending on the nature of the work performed by the employee. Current classifications shall be graded in accordance with Schedule 2 of this Agreement.
WAGE GRADES a. The wage grades contained in Appendix B are incorporated herein. b. Any employee who has not reached the maximum wage rate in the applicable wage grade and is not on step shall be placed on the next highest step as of October 1, 2019. This shall not be construed as a step increase under Section 2 (d). c. With respect to employees in Wage Grade 3, the Employer shall place those employees on the closest step which provides them at least a 2% wage increase retroactive to the first day of the first full pay period in January 2019. Employees who receive at least a 2% wage increase as a result of this step placement shall not be entitled to receive the general wage increase described in Section 1(a). d. Except as noted above in Section 1 (b), on the first day in October 2019, 2020 and 2021, all employees shall automatically proceed to the next step in the wage grades set forth in Appendix “B”. The step increase in October 2019 shall be paid retroactive to October 1, 2019. e. Based on a compelling case for an equity increase, employees set forth in Appendix “C” shall be entitled to one additional step as of October 1, 2020.

  • Grades At the end of each semester, students shall receive a final grade report that shall become a part of their permanent record. The College District’s grading system shall apply to all courses: A (90-100) - Excellent B (80-89) - Good C (70-79) - Average D (60-69) - Poor F (Below 60) - Failure I Incomplete Q Dropped W Dropped Due to Good Cause or Withdrawal from College CR Credit P Pass NP Not Passing FS Academic Fresh Start I - Incomplete: indicates that the coursework was incomplete because of serious illness or other justified emergency. The instructor shall change the grade of “I” to a grade based on the work completed for the course in addition to the work specified in the course completion contract. All incomplete work shall be completed within 90 days of the start of the next long semester. Failure to complete the work specified in the course completion contract shall result in a grade of zero, which shall be factored into the final grade calculation with appropriate weighting relative to other course grades.

  • Workweek A regularly re-occurring period of one hundred and sixty-eight (168) hours consisting of seven (7) consecutive twenty-four (24) hour periods. Workweeks will normally begin at 12:00 a.m. on Sunday and end at 12:00 midnight the following Saturday or as otherwise designated by the appointing authority. If there is a change in their workweek, employees will be given written notification by the appointing authority or their designee.

  • Wage Scales All workers covered by this Agreement shall be classified and paid in accordance with the classification and wage scales as attached as Appendices "A" and forming part of this Agreement.

  • Minimum Hours All employees shall be paid their regular hourly rate for each hour worked except where employed for less than four (4) consecutive hours per day, in which event they shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours pay. An employee who is called for work and upon reporting finds that his or her services are not required shall receive two (2) hours pay.

  • Mileage Measurement Where required, the mileage measurement for LIS rate elements is determined in the same manner as the mileage measurement for V&H methodology as outlined in NECA Tariff No. 4.

  • Shift Hours All shifts assigned by the Employer must conform with the following guidelines: (a) Four (4) hour shifts will be the minimum shift permitted in any one (1) day. (b) Shifts of 5, 6, 7 or 8 hours may be assigned, subject to the provisions of 10.05. (c) All hours worked up to and including eight (8) hours in any one (1) day will be paid at the straight time rate.

  • Supported wage rates Employees to whom this clause applies shall be paid the applicable percentage of the minimum rate of pay prescribed by this Agreement for the class of work which the person is performing according to the following schedule: * (Provided that the minimum amount payable shall be not less than $45 per week). Where a person’s assessed capacity is 10%, they shall receive a high degree of assistance and support.

  • Paid Holidays – Long Weekends (a) When an employee is scheduled to work a weekend where a paid holiday falls on the Monday or the Friday, the Employer shall endeavour to also schedule the employee to work the paid holiday. (b) When the employee is scheduled off on a weekend where a paid holiday falls on the Monday or the Friday, the Employer shall endeavour to schedule the employee off the paid holiday. (c) In the event of a scheduling conflict, 12.07 (a) will be the deciding provision.

  • Normal Workweek The normal workweek shall consist of five (5) days, eight (8) hours per day and forty (40) hours per week. This Article shall not restrict the extension of the regular workday or workweek on an overtime basis when such is necessary to carry on the business of the District.

  • Volume of TIPS Sales Nothing in this Agreement or any TIPS communication may be construed as a guarantee that TIPS or TIPS Members will submit any TIPS orders to Vendor at any time.
