Common use of Wet Weather Clause in Contracts

Wet Weather. In the event of an employee ceasing work because of wet weather, payment in respect of periods not worked shall be made subject to the employee remaining at work and standing by until directed by MCW to do otherwise. Employees are expected to undertake suitable alternative work as well as using the opportunity for scheduling required training during periods of prolonged wet weather.
