Winter Break Day. Employees who have been continuously employed by the Employer for more than four (4) months, prior to the end of the Fall Quarter, will be entitled to an additional day of paid leave to be used between the end of Fall Quarter and the beginning of Winter Quarter.

Winter Break Day. A. Employees are entitled to one (1) Winter Break Day if the employee has been continuously employed by the University for more than four (4) months, to be used between the end of Fall Quarter and the beginning of Winter Quarter. The day may not be carried forward or paid out at separation. B. Employees will be permitted to take their selected day as a Winter Break Day if the number of employees choosing a specific day off does not interfere with University operations or require the University to incur overtime. C. The pay for a full-time employee’s Winter Break Day is eight (8) hours. D. The Winter Break Day is pro-rated for part-time employees based on their appointment percentage.

The care of family members as required by the Family Care Act, WAC 296- 130; 2. Leave as required by the Military Family Leave Act, RCW 49.77 and in accordance with Article 19.13; or 3. Leave as required by the Domestic Violence Leave Act, RCW 49.76. 4. Any remaining portion of the Winter Break Day must be taken as one occurrence, not to exceed the work shift on the day of occurrence.
Winter Break Day. Employees who have completed probation will be entitled to an additional day of paid leave to be used between the end of Fall Quarter and the beginning of Winter Quarter. The day may not be carried forward for use at a later date, may not be donated through Shared Leave, and will not be cashed out under any circumstances. Except as modified by this section, the provisions of Section 15.7 regarding Personal Holidays will apply to the Winter Break Day.

  • Winter Break The Resident may apply to occupy a Room during the Winter Break period as detailed in Table 2. Winter Break applications will be made available to Residents by the Manager. Applications are due on or before December 1 at 5:00 p.m. If the Resident’s application is approved, they may be required to pay a small fee (detailed in Table 2) for Winter Break occupancy before the beginning of the Winter Break. During the Winter Break there is limited supervision of the Residence, all services are reduced or suspended, and annual maintenance and renovations may occur. To ensure the safety and security of the Resident and the Residence facilities it is the intention of the Manager to limit the number of Residents staying during the Winter Break to a small number of individuals that demonstrate a significant need for Residence accommodations. If the Resident is found occupying a Room during the Winter Break without having given written notice to the Manager, the Resident shall be subject to $30.00 for each day during the Winter Break period or $200.00 for the entire Winter Break, due immediately.   • Other Breaches The breach by such Borrower (other than a breach which constitutes a Default with respect to such Borrower under another Section of this Article VII) of any of the terms or provisions of this Agreement which is not remedied within 15 days (or, in the case of Section 6.9, five Business Days) after the chief executive officer, the chief financial officer, the President, the Treasurer or any Assistant Treasurer of such Borrower obtains actual knowledge of such breach.

  • H3 Break The Authority shall have the right to terminate the Contract at any time by giving three (3) Months’ written notice to the Contractor. The Authority may extend the period of notice at any time before it expires, subject to agreement on the level of Services to be provided by the Contractor during the period of extension.

  • Other Breach Under Agreement Borrower fails to meet the conditions of, or fails to perform any obligation under, any term of this Agreement not specifically referred to above.

  • Break Time For daily work assignments of six or more hours, permanent and probationary employees (except bus drivers and bus aides) shall be entitled to one 15-minute break for each half of the work assignment. For work assignments of less than six hours, such employees shall be entitled to one 15-minute break. Employees who spend a majority of the workday working with a Video Display Terminal (VDT) shall be permitted to perform other job-related duties (i.e., work not involving use of a VDT) 10 continuous minutes out of each hour. Such time shall not be cumulative and shall be in addition to break time established above.

  • Minimum Break between Shifts (a) Where it is necessary to work extended overtime, it is agreed that no Employee shall resume or continue to work without having had ten consecutive hours off duty between the termination of the overtime and the commencement of the Employee’s ordinary work on the next day or shift. (b) In the event that an Employee agrees to a request from site management to resume or continue to work without having had ten consecutive hours off duty, the Employee shall be paid at double ordinary time rates until the Employee is released from duty for such period.

  • Remembrance Day The Employer agrees to allow Employees 2 minutes of silence at 11:00 a.m. on Remembrance Day each year.

  • Work Day The standard work day shall be eight (8) consecutive hours of work exclusive of a lunch period in a consecutive twenty-four (24) hour day.

  • Working Day Working Day means a day other than a Saturday, Sunday, or a holiday which is observed by the construction industry in the area of the Place of the Work.

  • CONSEQUENCES OF EARLY TERMINATION OR OTHER BREACH BY APPLICANT A. In the event that the Applicant terminates this Agreement without the consent of the District, except as provided in Section 7.1 of this Agreement, the Applicant shall pay to the District liquidated damages for such failure within thirty (30) days after receipt of the notice of breach. B. In the event that the District determines that the Applicant has failed to comply in any material respect with the terms of this Agreement or to meet any material obligation under this Agreement, the Applicant shall pay to the District liquidated damages, as calculated by Section 9.4.C, prior to, and the District may terminate the Agreement effective on the later of: (i) the expiration of the thirty (30) days provided for in Section 9.3.A, and (ii) thirty (30) days after any mediation and judicial proceedings initiated pursuant to Sections 9.3.A and 9.3.B are resolved in favor of the District. C. The sum of liquidated damages due and payable shall be the sum total of the District ad valorem taxes for all of the Tax Years for which a tax limitation was granted pursuant to this Agreement prior to the year in which the default occurs that otherwise would have been due and payable by the Applicant to the District without the benefit of this Agreement, including penalty and interest, as calculated in accordance with Section 9.4.
