Winter Season Hours. The winter season will be established by the Employer by February 1st of each calendar year. The winter season shall begin within two (2) weeks of November 15 and end within two (2) weeks of April 15. The following provisions apply to an afternoon rotational shift (3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.) for Public Works Operators in addition to the aforementioned day shift: • At least sixty (60) calendar days prior to the start of the winter season, the Employer will meet with the union and Employees concerning implementation plans in the most efficient and effective manner • The afternoon shift shall be eight (8) consecutive working hours per day for five (5) consecutive working days per week, Monday to Friday, for a total of forty (40) hours per week • The afternoon shift shall commence at 3:30 p.m. and end at 12:00 a.m., with a one-half (½) hour unpaid meal break to be taken approximately halfway through the shift • The Town will grant a minimum eight (8) hours off between scheduled shifts • No more than 2 Employees will be assigned to the afternoon shift • Assignment of Employees shall be on a volunteer basis. Should there not be the number of volunteers willing to work the shift rotation, the required shifts will be assigned on a fair and equitable basis • The number of volunteers must be sufficient to meet operational requirements and allow for a balanced rotation of volunteers through day, afternoon and winter patrol shifts • For Employees on the rotational afternoon shift, monthly shift schedules shall be posted by the 15th day of the preceding month

  • Service Hours The services shall be provided during the working hours and days as defined by the Contractor.

  • Extra Hours (i) (a) Any additional hours beyond base hours shall be offered in a fair and impartial manner among "A" list part-time employees in the classification and in the geographical location in which the additional hours are required. Each zone and bureau and One Yonge Street shall be considered separate geographical locations. A part-time employee who is scheduled to work additional hours beyond the base hours (under the terms of Article 7) and who does not work those hours due to sickness shall be paid for such hours under the application of the sick leave provisions under Article 13 and Clause (2405).

  • Hours For the purposes of an unpaid 7.5-hour shift, the deduction from pay shall equate to 9.375 hours.

  • Opening hours The restaurant must inform Xxxxxx Xxx Ltd of its hours of operation (the “Opening Hours”), and of any changes to such Opening Hours. If the hours of operation are stated on the menu, Xxxxxx Xxx Ltd shall be entitles to treat these as the Opening Hours unless the Restaurant informs Xxxxxx Xxx Ltd otherwise.

  • Flexible Working Hours The Employer will, where operational requirements and efficiency of the service permit, authorize experiments with flexible working hours if the Employer is satisfied that an adequate number of Employees have requested and wish to participate in such an experiment.
