Wiring and Conduit a. All system wiring shall be of an MEC approved wiring method. All conductors shall have a temperature rating of 90 degrees C or lower. b. All conductors shall be copper, sized appropriately to minimize line losses. c. All conduits used in interior building applications shall be electro metallic tubing (“EMT”). d. All exterior conduits shall be hot dipped galvanized EMT with weather tight compression fittings and expansion joints as required. e. Expansion fittings shall be used in conduit runs in compliance with MEC article 300.7. A value of 144°F (80°C) shall be used for the maximum change in temperature (delta T) in the calculation of conduit expansion. f. All conduits shall be bonded at each end using listed bonding bushings. g. Where conduit is attached to roofs, fully flashed, non ferrous stanchions shall allow for expansion and contraction. For roof-mounted conditions, conduits shall be supported at a height greater than 3.5 inches by fully flashed, non ferrous stanchions. Manufacturer’s approved surface applied stanchions shall be used on membrane roofs. h. All outdoor electrical enclosures shall be NEMA 3R and have watertight connections. i. Exposed cables shall be listed as sunlight resistant and have a temperature rating of 90°C. These conductors shall be properly secured and well supported. Conductors are not permitted to be resting on the abrasive surfaces such as asphalt shingles. j. All wiring and conductors installed in subsurface applications shall be housed in utility grade PVC conduit(s) sufficiently covered and include trench warning identification. Spare conduits shall also be installed with a volumetric capacity of at least 25% of the original service. In the event subsurface conduits are exposed to vehicular traffic, concrete encasement shall be included.

Wiring and Conduit. All wiring must be a minimum of #12 solid wire for runs under 75 feet and a minimum #10 solid wire for runs greater than 75 feet. Absolutely no BX cable is to be used in the electrical rooms. All cabling and telephone type wiring used above the ceiling must be installed in conduit in accordance with the Building and Fire Codes. Conduit may not be required when cabling with FT6/IBM type 2 or 4 (fire rated) cable, if approved by the Landlord.
Wiring and Conduit. All electrical wiring shall be copper only. Aluminum is not allowed, except for feeders 100 amps or greater. All panelboard equipment bussing and transformers shall be copper. All busway plug-in units shall be copper. To prevent vibrating equipment from introducing vibration into the structure or other equipment, provide of two feet of metal flexible conduit or liquid-tight flexible conduit for the final connection to all hard-wired motors or other equipment with motors, i.e. compressors, fans or pumps.
Wiring and Conduit. Wiring shall conform to appropriate articles of the latest version of the National Electrical Code (NEC). 1. Wiring within cabinets, junction boxes, and so forth shall be neatly arranged. 2. Powdered soapstone, talc, or other approved lubricant shall be used when installing conductors in conduit. 3. Any excess lubricant shall be removed as directed by the Engineer. 4. All conduits shall be PVC unless otherwise specified in the Contract Documents. Each conductor shall have a minimum of 18 inches of slack coiled within each standard and at least 2 feet of slack coiled in each pull box. The length of slack shall be that amount of extra conductor that is available to be pulled completely out of the pole shaft or pull box. Series lighting cable shall be installed without splices from luminaire to luminaire and from service to luminaire unless otherwise specified. 1. Multiple lighting conductors may be spliced in the base of standards or in pull boxes adjacent thereto. 2. Signal cable shall run from terminal to terminal without splices unless otherwise indicated on the Drawings. Splices for street light cables shall be split bolt or "gel-cap" type unless otherwise specified in the Contract Documents or directed by the Engineer. 1. The gel-cap type shall consist of a kit containing a high abrasive and impact resistant clear elastomer cap factory-filled with cross-linked silicon gel for environmental sealing. 2. The silicon gel shall not become hard or brittle and shall have a temperature tolerance of -40 degrees F to +221 degrees F. 3. The cap, clamp, and gel used for the gel-type splice kit shall be UV-resistant. 4. Kits shall contain a split bolt connector and shall accommodate range of cable sizes specified in the Contract Documents or directed by the Engineer. 5. Gel-cap-type connection shall also permit removal and re-entry of wiring for maintenance purposes without damage to the splice kit. Conductor connector types to be used shall be approved by the Engineer prior to installation. When conductors and cables are pulled into the conduit, all ends of the conductors and cables shall be taped to exclude moisture. Ends of spare conductors shall be taped. All new traffic signal and street lighting conduit for future use shall have a 8 AWG stranded copper conductor with green THW-2 or XHHW-2 insulation which is secured at both ends by a conduit cap with a J-hook. 1. To provide the syllabi, including types of essays required (i.e., expository, persuasive, and critical analysis). iii. To provide regular meetings between the HC faculty and ISD faculty teaching the course. D. ISD agrees to the following for both the mathematics and English language arts courses: i. To provide highly qualified instructors for the courses being taught; ii. To identify students who are not college ready as stated in HB 5; iii. To provide professional development and resources required to teach the mathematics and English language arts courses; iv. To identify successful completion of the course(s) on the student transcripts as determined by the State of Texas PEIMS number; v. To provide curriculum for the course that is consistent with HC Student Learning Outcomes; vi. To provide assistance with admission, enrollment, and financial aid applications; E. ISD agrees to the following for the college preparatory mathematics course: i. To teach a math course designed to focus on college mathematics (algebraic or non‐algebraic) concepts; ii. Require students to meet college readiness scores on the TSI Assessment; iii. To meet regularly with HC faculty. F. ISD agrees to the following for the college preparatory English language arts course: i. To teach an integrated Reading and Writing course that focuses on critical reading and college‐level writing; ii. Require students to meet college readiness scores on the TSI Assessment; iii. To meet regularly with HC faculty.

Each Purchaser, severally and not jointly with the other Purchasers, covenants that until such time as the transactions contemplated by this Agreement are publicly disclosed by the Company as described in Section 4.6, such Purchaser will maintain the confidentiality of all disclosures made to it in connection with this transaction (including the existence and terms of this transaction). Each Purchaser understands and acknowledges, severally and not jointly with any other Purchaser, that the Commission currently takes the position that coverage of short sales of shares of the Common Stock “against the box” prior to the Effective Date of the Registration Statement with the Securities is a violation of Section 5 of the Securities Act, as set forth in Item 65, Section A, of the Manual of Publicly Available Telephone Interpretations, dated July 1997, compiled by the Office of Chief Counsel, Division of Corporation Finance. Notwithstanding the foregoing, no Purchaser makes any representation, warranty or covenant hereby that it will not engage in Short Sales in the securities of the Company after the time that the transactions contemplated by this Agreement are first publicly announced as described in Section 4.6. Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the case of a Purchaser that is a multi-managed investment vehicle whereby separate portfolio managers manage separate portions of such Purchaser's assets and the portfolio managers have no direct knowledge of the investment decisions made by the portfolio managers managing other portions of such Purchaser's assets, the covenant set forth above shall only apply with respect to the portion of assets managed by the portfolio manager that made the investment decision to purchase the Securities covered by this Agreement.

  • Short Sales and Confidentiality Prior To The Date Hereof Other than consummating the transactions contemplated hereunder, such Purchaser has not directly or indirectly, nor has any Person acting on behalf of or pursuant to any understanding with such Purchaser, executed any purchases or sales, including Short Sales, of the securities of the Company during the period commencing from the time that such Purchaser first received a term sheet (written or oral) from the Company or any other Person representing the Company setting forth the material terms of the transactions contemplated hereunder until the date hereof (“Discussion Time”). Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the case of a Purchaser that is a multi-managed investment vehicle whereby separate portfolio managers manage separate portions of such Purchaser's assets and the portfolio managers have no direct knowledge of the investment decisions made by the portfolio managers managing other portions of such Purchaser's assets, the representation set forth above shall only apply with respect to the portion of assets managed by the portfolio manager that made the investment decision to purchase the Securities covered by this Agreement. Other than to other Persons party to this Agreement, such Purchaser has maintained the confidentiality of all disclosures made to it in connection with this transaction (including the existence and terms of this transaction).

  • Program Monitoring and Evaluation The Recipient shall prepare, or cause to be prepared, and furnish to the Association not later than six months after the Closing Date, a report of such scope and in such detail as the Association shall reasonably request, on the execution of the Program, the performance by the Recipient and the Association of their respective obligations under the Legal Agreements and the accomplishment of the purposes of the Financing.”
