WORK RULES FOR PERSONAL CONDUCT. The Civil Service Commission adopted, and the City Council and Mayor approved the following work rules which apply to all City employees to ensure that: • Employees conduct themselves in a professional manner to xxxxxx mutual respect and promote harmonious, productive working relationships; • Employees work in an efficient, conscientious and diligent manner; • Employees work safely, protecting themselves and others; • The rights of all employees are protected and respected. These work rules and examples as found in Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual Section 411 are not all-inclusive but serve to inform employees as to the type of conduct that is and is not acceptable relating to City business and the workplace. In addition to these rules, employees must follow the Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual (PPPM), any applicable collective bargaining agreement, any applicable department policies and procedures, the City Charter and ordinances, as well as state and federal laws relating to City business or the workplace.

WORK RULES FOR PERSONAL CONDUCT. It is the policy of the City of Tulsa to xxxxxx a mutual concern for the efficient, orderly and safe operation of all City departments. Toward that end it is desirable to have clear, well-defined rules of personal conduct which are understood and communicated between employees at all levels of the organization. These rules of conduct are not designed to restrict employee rights, but rather to define them and thus protect the rights of all. Disciplinary action will only be taken after consideration of the offense, as well as the work history of the employee. Such action shall be for the purpose of helping the employee to correct mistakes rather than to merely punish. The application of discipline shall be of appropriate severity for the offense committed and as consistent as possible among all departments of the City. It is not the intent that the work rules listed below be inclusive, but are stated as guidelines for personal conduct. Commission of, or being a party to, any of the following acts, or other acts contrary to good order, will be grounds for disciplinary action. Such action may include a written reprimand, suspension, demotion or discharge.

  • PERSONAL CONDUCT Executive agrees promptly and faithfully to comply with all present and future policies, requirements, directions, requests and rules and regulations of Company in connection with Company’s business. Executive further agrees to conform to all laws and regulations and not at any time to commit any act or become involved in any situation or occurrence tending to bring Company into public scandal, ridicule or which will reflect unfavorably on the reputation of Company.

  • WORK RULES The State may change or adopt work rules during the term of this Agreement but such changed or adopted work rules shall not be inconsistent with the terms and provisions of this Agreement. Whenever such work rules are to be changed or adopted, they shall be posted on bulletin boards in the appropriate organizational units for seven (7) days before they are to become effective. Simultaneously with such posting a copy of same shall be forwarded to MSEA-SEIU. Upon request by MSEA-SEIU the State will meet and consult with MSEA-SEIU on the proposed changed or new rules.

  • General Conduct The BSC has specific policies governing conduct in the units, including, but not limited to, assault, harassment, sexual harassment, host, alcohol, party and substance abuse policies. Member agrees to read and abide by these policies. Failure to follow BSC conduct policies will lead to a range of sanctions up to and including termination of this contract and BSC membership.

  • Professional Conduct Any Firm providing legal services to Citizens shall ensure that its personnel complies with all applicable standards of ethics and rules of professional responsibility, including the Florida Rules of Professional Conduct promulgated by the Florida Supreme Court for attorneys practicing in Florida (or similar standards applicable to attorneys practicing outside the State of Florida). Such standards include rules related to conflicts of interest and confidentiality that are intended to protect Citizens and Citizens’ information. Additionally, in keeping with the vision and mission of Citizens as entrusted by the Florida legislature, Citizens expects all attorneys and legal professionals acting on its behalf, or on behalf of Citizens’ insureds, to adhere to the initiatives for Professional Conduct as promoted by the Florida Bar Center for Professionalism. On January 30, 2015 the Florida Bar Board of Governors approved “Professionalism Expectations.” In keeping with the vision and mission of Citizens as entrusted by the Florida legislature, Citizens expects all attorneys and legal professionals acting on its behalf, or on behalf of Citizens’ insureds, to adhere to the letter and spirit of Professional Conduct as promoted by the Florida Bar’s Standing Committee on Professionalism expressed within this document.

  • ETHICAL CONDUCT Seller's employees shall comply with the BorgWarner Supplier Code of Conduct articulated within the BorgWarner Supplier Manual. Compliance with these standards is a mandatory component of Buyer's purchase contracts worldwide and must also apply to Seller subcontractors. Both, the BorgWarner Supplier Code of Conduct and the BorgWarner Supplier Manual are incorporated by reference as part of the Purchase Order, are binding on the Seller, and Seller explicitly verifies to have read and accepted the BorgWarner Supplier Code of Conduct and the BorgWarner Supplier Manual.

  • Contractor Employee Conduct The Contractor’s employees shall adhere to the standards of conduct prescribed in the Customer’s personnel policy and procedure guidelines, particularly rules of conduct, security procedures, and any other applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the Customer. The Contractor shall ensure that the Contractor’s employees wear attire suitable for the position, either a standard uniform or business casual dress.

  • Business Conduct Merger Sub was formed on December 3, 2020. Since its inception, Merger Sub has not engaged in any activity, other than such actions in connection with (a) its organization and (b) the preparation, negotiation and execution of this Agreement and the Transactions. Use the Site or Services (a) to defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten, harvest or collect personally identifiable information, or otherwise violate the legal rights of others, including rights of privacy or publicity; (b) to impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity, or state or imply that we endorse any of your statements or Submissions (as defined below); or (c) for any other fraudulent or unlawful purpose. Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Site or Services or the servers or networks used to make the Site or Services available (including by taking any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load upon the Site or in connection with the Services or upon such servers or networks) or violate any requirements, procedures, policies or regulations of such servers or networks. Restrict or inhibit any other person from using the Site or Services (including by hacking or defacing the Site). Use the Site or Services to advertise or offer to sell or buy any goods or services. License, sublicense, transfer, assign, reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, distribute, or exploit for any commercial purposes the Site or Services or any access to or use of the Site or Services. Modify, adapt, make derivate works of, translate, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Site or Services. Remove any copyright, trademark or other proprietary rights notice from the Site or Services or any materials available through the Site or Services. Frame or mirror any part of the Site or Services without PLI’s express prior written consent. Systematically download or store content from the Site or Services. Use any robot, spider, site search/retrieval application or other manual or automatic device to retrieve, index, “scrape,” “data mine” or in any way gather content of the Site or in connection with the Services or reproduce or circumvent the navigational structure or presentation of the Site or Services without PLI’s express prior written consent. Notwithstanding the foregoing, PLI grants the operators of public search engines permission to use spiders to copy materials from the Site for the sole purpose of and solely to the extent necessary for creating publicly available searchable indices of the materials, but not caches or archives of such materials. PLI reserves the right to revoke these exceptions either generally or in specific cases. Additionally, you acknowledge and agree that you (and not PLI) are responsible for obtaining and maintaining all telecommunications, broadband, and computer hardware, equipment and services needed to access and use the Site or Services, and paying all charges related thereto. We may terminate your use of the Site or Services for any conduct that we consider to be inappropriate, or for your breach of this Agreement, including the Rules of Conduct set forth above (including, without limitation, if you repeatedly engage in copyright infringement via or in connection with the Site or Services).

  • Compliance with Contractor Employee Jury Service Ordinance Contractor shall comply with the County Ordinance with respect to provision of jury duty pay to employees and have and adhere to a written policy that provides that its employees shall receive from the Contractor, on an annual basis, no less than five days of regular pay for actual jury service in San Mateo County. The policy may provide that employees deposit any fees received for such jury service with the Contractor or that the Contractor deduct from the employees’ regular pay the fees received for jury service.
