Workweek and Work Schedules. ‌ The workweek shall begin on Sunday and end on Saturday, and the work schedule for full-time employees will normally consist of forty (40) hours in a seven (7) day workweek. The above workweek definition provides for a five (5) day, eight (8) hour work schedule, a four (4) day, ten (10) hour work schedule, or an alternate work schedule as mutually agreed upon by the employee and the City. Alternate workweek examples are addressed in Section 9 of this article.
