WSNA/MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. 15.1 WSNA/Management Committee. The Employer, jointly with the elected representatives of the nurses covered by this Agreement, shall establish a WSNA/Management Committee (Committee) to assist with work force issues and other issues of mutual concern. The purposes of the Committee are to xxxxxx improved communications between the Employer and the nursing staff and to discuss and improve professional nursing practices in the Medical Center. The function of the Committee shall be limited to an advisory rather than a decision- making capacity. The Committee shall meet for a minimum of two (2) hours on a monthly basis. A maximum of seven (7) representatives of the nurses, designated by the Association, shall be compensated for the duration of the Committee meeting. If a nurse is unable to arrange for time off to attend a meeting, the Employer will assist in facilitating the nurse’s attendance. By mutual agreement, the parties may designate additional nurses to attend. Such nurses, up to a maximum of three (3), will be compensated for their time. The Committee shall be co-chaired by a nurse representative and an Employer representative. The Employer recognizes that the CNO is a key member of the Committee and will make a good faith effort to attend regularly. At least fifty percent (50%) of the meeting time for this Committee shall be devoted to staffing, nursing practice and patient care delivery issues, unless mutually agreed otherwise.

The purpose of the WSNA/Management Committee is to xxxxxx improved communications between the Employer and the nursing staff and the function of the Committee shall be limited to an advisory rather than a decision-making capacity. Such a Committee shall exist on a permanent basis and meet at least quarterly and shall consist of at least three (3) representatives of management and at least three (3) representatives of the nurses covered by this Agreement. In addition to the nurses, an Association representative may attend and participate in WSNA/Management Committee meetings. Time spent in WSNA/Management Committee shall be paid time for Committee members. Committee members will attempt to arrange for time off to attend meeting. If a nurse is unable to arrange for time off to attend, the employer will assist in facilitating the nurse’s attendance.

  • Management Committee The Members shall act collectively through meetings as a "committee of the whole," which is hereby named the "Management Committee." The Management Committee shall conduct its affairs in accordance with the following provisions and the other provisions of this Agreement:

  • Union-Management Committee There shall be a union/management committee comprised of four (4) employee representatives appointed by the Union and four (4) employer representatives. The Committee's purpose is to provide and promote effective and meaningful communication of information and ideas and to make joint recommendations on matters of concern. Matters that are properly the subject of an individual grievance will not be discussed at this committee. The Committee will meet quarterly, unless agreed otherwise, at a time and place mutually agreed to provided there is business for their joint consideration. The parties will exchange agenda items at least one (1) week prior to the meeting. The parties further agree the Committee may meet at any time its members mutually agree a meeting should be held. The duties of the Chairperson will be shared by the parties. Copies of the minutes shall be provided to Committee members. The employer agrees to pay for time spent during regular working hours for representatives of the union attending such meetings. The parties may utilize video or teleconferencing services for the purposes of committee members attending committee meetings, where appropriate and available. Neither party can unreasonably deny an initiative to utilize video or teleconferencing services.

  • Labour Management Committee (a) Where the parties mutually agree that there are matters of mutual concern and interest that would be beneficial if discussed at a Labour-Management Committee Meeting during the term of this Agreement, the following shall apply.

  • Joint Union/Management Committee It shall be appropriate for either the Union or the University to request that a Joint Union/Management committee be convened, with Environmental Health and Safety as a participating member, to discuss health and safety concerns and to explore options for addressing those concerns through appropriate training or other approaches.

  • Association-Management Committee There shall be an Association-Management Committee comprised of two (2) representatives of the parties. The Committee shall meet quarterly, unless otherwise mutually agreed. Agenda items to be discussed shall be exchanged in writing at least five calendar days prior to the meeting. Meetings of this Committee will be to discuss matters of mutual concern, matters relating to nursing, professional practice, scheduling and work load issues. The Committee shall promote and provide for effective and meaningful communication. The parties agree Self Scheduling is appropriate subject matter to discuss in this forum.

  • JOINT LABOUR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE 18.01 A Joint Labour Management Committee shall be established to attend to those matters which are of mutual interest. To ensure its effectiveness the Committee shall be separate and apart from the grievance procedure.

  • EMPLOYEE-MANAGEMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE 33.01 (a) An Employee-Management Advisory Committee (EMAC) shall be established within three (3) months of the signing of the Collective Agreement. The Union Representative shall provide the names of up to three (3) elected Employees and the Employer shall provide the names of up to three (3) appointed representatives to sit on the EMAC.

  • UNION MANAGEMENT CONSULTATION COMMITTEE 28.00 The Union and the Employer agree to establish/maintain a Union Management Consultation Committee which shall be comprised of two (2) representatives of the Local Union and two (2) representatives of the Employer. A person designated by the Union and the Employer shall alternate as the Chairperson.

  • Operating Committee the Consortium’s managing body, composed of representatives of the Manager and the Contractors, pursuant to Annex XI.

  • Consultative Committee 26.1 The parties agree to establish a consultative committee to assist the parties improve productivity, efficiency and to provide for the effective involvement of employees in decision making processes. The committee will consist of an equal number of company and elected employee representatives.
