EFFECT OF FAILURE OF TIMELY ACTION. If the District fails to respond within the required time limit at any step, the District shall be considered to have denied the grievance at that step as of the last day for response. EFFECT OF FAILURE OF TIMELY ACTION. The parties agree they will follow the steps, time limits, and conditions set forth herein. If the Agency fails to meet its requirements, the Union may appeal it to the next step, if the Union fails to meet its requirements, the grievance shall be deemed resolved and withdrawn. Time limits may be extended by the mutual agreement of the parties.
