Health Plan Task Force. A joint union-management committee with equal representation of management and the union shall be established. SEIU, Local 221 shall have four (4) representatives on this Task Force. This Task Force shall be a standing committee and will meet on a mutually- agreed upon schedule (at least quarterly) to consider issues of health care delivery to employees. This Task Force shall study activities which have the potential of limiting health plan costs without shifting costs to workers or otherwise reducing levels of benefits or quality of care. The Task Force shall develop recommendations for measures to hold insurance carriers, administrators and hospitals and physicians more accountable for controlling health care costs. Any changes to the existing health/life insurance programs would be subject to the meet and confer process. In no event, during the term of this Agreement will there be a reduction in flex credit contribution by the County or change in benefits unless mutually agreed upon by the parties.
