Privacy Restricted Data definition

Privacy Restricted Data means any information about persons or entities that Service Provider receives or derives in any manner from any source pursuant to this Fourteenth Amendment which is personally identifiable and concerns prospective, former, and existing customers and employees of (1) Sprint, (2) Sprint Affiliates, (3) Sprint affinity marketing partners, and (4) other partners, and information from Sprint data service providers. By way of example, Privacy Restricted Data includes, without limitation, names, addresses, telephone numbers, electronic addresses, social security numbers, credit card numbers, customer proprietary network information (as defined under 47 U.S.C. § 222 and its implementing regulations), frequent flier information, account information, credit information, and demographic information. Privacy Restricted Data does not include “Aggregate Customer Information” as defined under 47 U.S.C. § 222. For the avoidance of doubt, “Aggregate Customer Information” is Sprint Confidential Information, as provided in Section 5 [Confidential Information] of the Agreement, but subject to Section 10.7 [Aggregate User Data] below, and is subject to all Sprint Security Policies provided herein.
Privacy Restricted Data means any information about persons or entities that Service Provider receives or derives in any manner from any source pursuant to this Agreement which is personally identifiable and concerns prospective:, former, and existing customers and employees of (1) Sprint, (2) Sprint Affiliates, (3) Sprint affinity marketing partners, and (4) other partners, and information related to, obtained from or generated by the use of the Sprint data encryption/decryption libraries, customer NAIs, customer MDNs, and information from Sprint data service providers. By way of example, Privacy Restricted Data includes, without limitation, names, addresses, telephone numbers, electronic addresses, social security numbers, credit card numbers, customer proprietary network information (as defined under 47 U.S.C. § 222 and its implementing regulations), frequent flier information, account information, credit information, and demographic information, Privacy Restricted Data does not include “Aggregate Customer Information” as defined under 47 U.S.C. § 222. For the avoidance of doubt, “Aggregate Customer information” is Sprint Confidential Information, as provided in Section 5 [Confidential Information] of the Agreement, but subject to Section 10.7 [Aggregate User Data] below, and is subject to all Sprint Security Policies provided herein.
Privacy Restricted Data means any information about persons or entities that Supplier receives or derives in any manner from any source pursuant to this Agreement which concerns prospective, former, and existing customers and employees of (a) Sprint, (b) Sprint Affiliates, (c) Sprint affinity marketing partners, and (d) other partners, and information from Sprint data suppliers. By way of example, Privacy Restricted Data includes, without limitation, names, addresses, telephone numbers, electronic addresses, social security numbers, credit card numbers, customer proprietary network information (as defined under 47 U.S.C. § 222 and its implementing regulations), location information, IP addresses or other handset identifiers, account information, credit information, demographic information, and any other information that, either alone or in combination with other data, could provide information specific to a particular person.

Examples of Privacy Restricted Data in a sentence

  • DBI shall remedy and mitigate the damages of any breach of privacy, security, integrity or confidentiality with respect to the unauthorized creation, collection, receipt, storage, maintenance, access, modification, transmission, use or disclosure (a “State Breach”) of Privacy Restricted Data that is or may be in violation of any State Privacy Laws.

  • DBI shall notify the Privacy Official (using the procedures that apply to Breaches of Unsecured PHI under Section 2.8(c)) of any State Breaches by or on behalf of DBI of Privacy Restricted Data that is or may be in violation of any State Privacy Laws.

  • In addition, DBI shall also notify the affected Plan participants and beneficiaries (using the procedures that apply to Breaches of Unsecured PHI under Section 2.8(b)) of any State Breaches by or on behalf of DBI of Privacy Restricted Data that is in violation of any State Privacy Laws and any state or local governmental agencies, authorities or other entities, but only to the extent required by such State Privacy Laws.

  • For purposes of this Section 8.9, “State Privacy Laws” shall mean any applicable state and local privacy laws governing the creation, collection, storage, maintenance, access, modification, transmission, use or disclosure of Privacy Restricted Data.

  • Without the prior written consent of the CCSR, User will not provide to the CCSR any Privacy Restricted Data or permit any User Materials containing any Privacy Restricted Data to be stored on or processed by any equipment or Services operated by the CCSR.


More Definitions of Privacy Restricted Data

Privacy Restricted Data means any personally identifying data OPTIVON receives or derives from any source pursuant to this Agreement that concerns prospective, former, and existing Subscribers and End Users if and as retained by OPTIVON, as the case may be, except for Telephone Numbers and transmission-related data and time-related data included with any Message in connection with OPTIVON's provision of an SMS Service or MMS Service.
Privacy Restricted Data means any information that: (i) is categorized as “personal data,” “protected health information,” “personal information,” “personally identifiable information” or any similar term in any applicable national, federal, state or local law, rule, directive or regulation relating to the privacy of personal information, including, without limitation, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (the “General Data Protection Regulation” or “GDPR”), any subordinate legislation passed under the GDPR and any other similar law or regulation; and the California Consumer Privacy Act; (ii) is restricted under any privacy policy or practice applicable to any personal information that User accesses, uses, collects, or maintains hereunder, including, without limitation any practice required in connection with the processing of credit card data; or (iii) is restricted under any law or regulation concerning the notification to data subjects, law enforcement or other third parties of the occurrence of any actual or suspected disclosure of restricted data or personally identifiable information.
Privacy Restricted Data means any information that is regulated by: (i) any applicable national, federal, state or local law, rule, directive or regulation relating to the privacy of personal information, including, without limitation, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, the Directive 95/46/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council dated 24th October 1995, any subordinate legislation passed under that Directive and any other similar law or regulation;
Privacy Restricted Data means any information about persons or entities that Supplier receives or derives in any manner from any source pursuant to this Agreement which concerns prospective, former, and existing customers and employees of (1) Sprint, (2) Sprint Affiliates, (3) Sprint affinity marketing partners, and (4) other partners, and information from Sprint data suppliers. Privacy Restricted Data means any information Sitel receives or derives in any manner from any source in connection with carrying out its obligations under this Agreement that (i) may be used to identify any person or entity or (ii) identifies characteristics (such as qualities, likes, dislikes, propensities, or tendencies) of any person or entity. By way of example, Privacy Restricted Data includes, without limitation, names, addresses, telephone numbers, electronic or e-mail addresses, social security numbers, credit card numbers, customer proprietary network information (as defined under 47 U.S.C. § 222 and its implementing regulations), account information, credit information, and demographic information. The phrase “any person or entity” includes, without limitation, prospective, former and existing Client subscribers or Client employees, contractors, agents, representatives or suppliers.
Privacy Restricted Data means any information that is regulated by: (i) any applicable national, federal, state or local law, rule, directive or regulation relating to the privacy of personal information, including, without limitation, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, the Directive 95/46/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council dated 24th October 1995, any subordinate legislation passed under that Directive and any other similar law or regulation; (ii) any privacy policy or practice applicable to any personal information that User accesses, uses, collects, or maintains hereunder, including, without limitation any practice required in connection with the processing of credit card data; and (iii) any law or regulation concerning the notification to data subjects, law enforcement or other third parties of the occurrence of any actual or suspected disclosure of restricted data or personally identifiable information, including, without limitation, Section 1798.82 of the California Civil Code. NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING TO THE CONTRARY IN THIS AGREEMENT, CCSR SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR STORAGE OR DISCLOSURE OF ANY PRIVACY RESTRICTED DATA.
Privacy Restricted Data is a subset of Sprint Restricted Data and includes specific information that Sprint deems needs additional security beyond the provisions included in Sprint Restricted Data, such as: [**] agreed upon by the parties as needed.
