Ramp Area definition

Ramp Area means the aircraft parking and maneuvering areas adjacent to Terminal.
Ramp Area means the aircraft parking and maneuvering areas adjacent to the Terminals and shall include within its boundaries all Aircraft Parking Positions and the Dulles Jet Apron positions; provided, however, it shall not include the Dulles Cargo Apron.
Ramp Area or “Ramp Area Cost Center” shall mean those outside airport operations areas of the Airport designated for the Terminal Area consisting of the aircraft parking positions, ramp space and canopy space (and including any other equipment located on the Ramp Area that are owned by City and provided for the use by Air Transportation Companies) that extend from the face of the Terminal Area to the outer limits of the vehicle service road to the South, bordering the fence line on the West, and to the taxilane object free area to the Northeast (as shown on Exhibit D), as may be subject to change from time to time.

Examples of Ramp Area in a sentence

  • Ground loading of jet aircraft in the Terminal Ramp Area is prohibited unless otherwise permitted by the Director.

  • Such Authority-estimated Ramp Area requirement for Dulles shall not exceed ten percent (10%) of the Airfield Total Requirement in any Rate Period.

  • An “Entrance Ramp Area, Mainline Work” traffic control set-up will be required.

  • In addition, the Authority may prohibit or restrict the use of the Ramp Area by any aircraft the wheel loading of which exceeds the design strength of the pavement as determined by the Authority.

  • Landlord shall construct the Building and Common Area and Boat Ramp Area and install within the Leased Premises, in a good and workmanlike manner, the Tenant Improvements, in accordance with the Approved Final Plans, all Laws at the time of filing for the building permit and this Exhibit C.

  • Tenant further hereby agrees to defend, indemnify and hold Landlord harmless from any Losses (as defined in Section 9.07), arising from or related to the Boat Ramp Area and the use thereof by Tenant, or an invitee, licensee, guest or member of the public.

  • A hand-held radio will be acceptable.5.05 Vehicle Requirements for Ramp Area and Air Operations Area: Vehicles requiring entrance to the Air Operations Area and Ramp Area shall be equipped with a functioning flashing or rotating amber beacon mounted upon the highest part of the vehicle, or have operational emergency flashers.

  • Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein, Tenant, at its sole cost and expense and without reimbursement from Landlord or any other tenant, shall be responsible for all maintenance and repairs to the Boat Ramp Area and for all replacements thereto so as to keep the Boat Ramp Area in good condition and repair consistent with the maintenance standard utilized for Landlord for the remainder of the Real Estate and Common Areas.


More Definitions of Ramp Area

Ramp Area shall have the meaning ascribed to it in Section 3, “PREMISES AND AUTHORIZED USE”. “Rents, fees, and charges” (§5 –RENT, FEES AND CHARGES) means the following amounts to be charged to and paid by Tenant in accordance with Section 5 of this Lease:
Ramp Area means the surface immediately adjacent to the New Terminal, as designated by the City, that is used for the parking of aircraft and ground service equipment support vehicles, and the loading and unloading of aircraft as shown in Exhibit 1 for the New Terminal.
Ramp Area means the aircraft parking and maneuvering areas adjacent to the Terminal and shall include within its boundaries all Aircraft Aprons.
Ramp Area means that portion of the apron adjacent to the Gates and associated airfield ramp areas, but not including any taxiways and runways, in which aircraft maneuver on the ground, park or are serviced between flights.
Ramp Area means the area from the edge of the Apron Area up to the edge of the Airfield Area, including any FAA
Ramp Area means the area from the edge of the Apron Area up to the edge of the Airfield Area, including any FAA controlled taxiway and/or taxilane.

  • ILUA Area means the geographical area in relation to which the Framework ILUA applies, as specified in Schedule 2 of the Framework ILUA;

  • the LA area means the area in respect of which is the local authority.

  • Built-Up Area and/or “Covered Area” in relation to a Flat shall mean the floor area of that Flat including the area of balconies and terraces, if any attached thereto, and also the thickness of the walls (external or internal) and the columns and pillars therein Provided That if any wall, column or pillar be common between two Flats, then one-half of the area under such wall column or pillar shall be included in the built-up area of each such Flat.

  • Carpet Area means the net usable floor, area of an Flat/Apartment, excluding the area covered by the external walls, areas under services shafts, excluding balcony or verandah area and exclusive open terrace, but includes the area covered by the internal partition walls of the flat/apartment;

  • Lot area means the total horizontal area within the lot lines of a lot.

  • Landscaped area means all the planting areas, turf areas, and water features in a landscape design plan subject to the Maximum Applied Water Allowance and Estimated Applied Water Use calculations. The landscaped area does not include footprints of buildings or structures, sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, decks, patios, gravel or stone walks, other pervious or non-pervious hardscapes, and other non-irrigated areas designated for non-development (e.g., open spaces and existing native vegetation).

  • Easement Area means the area which is hatched on the plan.

  • Drainage area means a geographic area within which stormwater, sediments, or dissolved materials drain to a particular receiving waterbody or to a particular point along a receiving waterbody.

  • Development Area means that area to which a development plan is applicable.

  • Basal area means the effective surface area available to transmit the treated effluent from the filter media in a mound system into the in-situ receiving soils. The perimeter is measured at the interface of the imported fill material and in-situ soil. On sloping sites, only the area down-gradient from the up-slope edge of the distribution media may be included in this calculation.

  • Slum area means any area where dwellings predominate which, by reason of depreciation, overcrowding, faulty arrangement or design, lack of ventilation, light or sanitary facilities, or any combination of these factors, are detrimental to the public safety, health or morals.

  • Work area means a room or defined space in a workplace where hazardous chemicals are produced or used, and where employees are present.

  • Adjacent area means the area outside the affected area or permit area where air, surface or ground water, fish, wildlife, vegetation or other resources protected by Chapter 1513. of the Revised Code, determined according to the context in which "adjacent area" is used, are or reasonably could be expected to be adversely affected by proposed coal mining and reclamation operations including probable impacts from underground workings. With respect to underground mining operations, "adjacent area" shall include, at a minimum, the surface areas above full coal recovery areas.

  • Storage area means any location, facility, or vehicle which is used to store, to transport, or to secure a radiographic exposure device, a storage container, or a sealed source when it is not in use and which is locked or has a physical barrier to prevent accidental exposure, tampering with, or unauthorized removal of the device, container, or source.

  • Play area means an area of frequent soil contact by children of less than six years of age as indicated by, but not limited to, factors including the following: the presence of play equipment (sandboxes, swing sets, and sliding boards), toys, or other children’s possessions, observations of play patterns, or information provided by parents, residents, caregivers, or property owners.

  • Areas means such areas within the DAS Areas that are identified in Annexure A annexed to this Agreement;

  • Business Area means an adjacent area that is zoned by a state, county, township, or municipal zoning authority for industrial or commercial purposes, customarily referred to as "b" or business, "c" or commercial, "i" or industrial, "m" or manufacturing, and "s" or service, and all other similar classifications and that is within a city, village, or charter township or is within 1 mile of the corporate limits of a city, village, or charter township or is beyond 1 mile of the corporate limits of a city, village, or charter township and contains 1 or more permanent structures devoted to the industrial or commercial purposes described in this subdivision and that extends along the highway a distance of 800 feet beyond each edge of the activity. Each side of the highway is considered separately in applying this definition except that where it is not topographically feasible for a sign or sign structure to be erected or maintained on the same side of the highway as the permanent structure devoted to industrial or commercial purposes, a business area may be established on the opposite side of a primary highway in an area zoned commercial or industrial or in an unzoned area with the approval of the state highway commission. A permanent structure devoted to industrial or commercial purposes does not result in the establishment of a business area on both sides of the highway. All measurements shall be from the outer edge of the regularly used building, parking lot, or storage or processing area of the commercial or industrial activity and not from the property lines of the activities and shall be along or parallel to the edge or pavement of the highway. Commercial or industrial purposes are those activities generally restricted to commercial or industrial zones in jurisdictions that have zoning. In addition, the following activities are not commercial or industrial:

  • Parking Garage means a building or portion of a building, other than a private garage, that is used for the temporary parking of motor vehicles;

  • Catchment Area means the geographical area covered under a Local Homeless Assistance Continuum of Care Plan, as designated and revised as necessary by the State Office on Homelessness, in accordance with Section 420.624, F.S.

  • Redevelopment Area means the community redevelopment area described, defined or otherwise identified or referred to in the Redevelopment Plan.

  • Passenger area means the area designed to seat the driver and passengers while a motor vehicle is in operation and any area that is readily accessible to the driver or a passenger while in his or her seating position, including but not limited to any type of glove or storage compartment accessible to passengers or driver.

  • Planning area means a planning area or a development area or a local planning area or a regional development plan area, by whatever name called, or any other area specified as such by the appropriate Government or any competent authority and includes any area designated by the appropriate Government or the competent authority to be a planning area for future planned development, under the law relating to Town and Country Planning for the time being in force and as revised from time to time;

  • Network Area means the 50 mile radius around the local school campus the Named Insured is attending.

  • CONE Area means the areas listed in Tariff, Attachment DD, section 5.10(a)(iv)(A) and any LDAs established as CONE Areas pursuant to Tariff, Attachment DD, section 5.10(a)(iv)(B).

  • Underground area means an underground room, such as a basement, cellar, shaft or vault, providing enough space for physical inspection of the exterior of the tank situated on or above the surface of the floor.

  • Dining area means a public room or area in which meals are regularly served.
