Resettlement Action Plans definition

Resettlement Action Plans or “RAPs” means the resettlement action plans to be prepared by the Recipient and the Project Implementing Entities in accordance with Section I.E.1(a) of Schedule 2 to this Agreement and the RPF, containing, inter alia, a program of actions, measures and policies for compensation and resettlement of Affected Persons, including the magnitude of displacement, compensation and resettlement arrangements, budget and cost estimates, and sources of funding, together with adequate institutional, monitoring and reporting arrangements capable of ensuring proper implementation of, and regular feedback on compliance with its terms.
Resettlement Action Plans means the plans titled “Assessment of Past Resettlement Activities and Action Plan” in respect of the Project and the “Resettlement and Community Development Action Plan” for the UETC Line, both dated and disclosed in December 2006 as part of the SEAs, for the Company’s as well as UETC’s and the Government’s implementation of the involuntary resettlement of displaced persons in conjunction with the development of the Project and the UETC Line Project;
Resettlement Action Plans and “RAPs” mean, collectively: (i) the Resettlement Action Plan for the Dashadi Wastewater Treatment Plant; (ii) the Resettlement Action Plan for the Liede III Wastewater Treatment Plant; (iii) the Resettlement Action Plan for the Sewerage Network; and (iv) the Resettlement Action Plan for the Hazardous Waste Center, all dated March 8, 2004, prepared by Guangzhou and referred to in paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Project Agreement; said Plans set out the principles and procedures governing the acquisition of land and other assets, resettlement, compensation and rehabilitation of Displaced Persons, as well as administrative, reporting and monitoring arrangements to ensure compliance with said Plans, as said Plans may be revised from time to time with the agreement of the Bank; and “Resettlement Action Plan” and “RAP” mean any of said Resettlement Action Plans or RAPs.

  • The Recipient shall ensure that the Project, including any Subprojects, shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Environmental and Social Management Framework, Resettlement Policy Framework, any Environmental Management Plans, and any Resettlement Action Plans, and, except as the Association shall otherwise agree, the Recipient shall not assign, amend, abrogate, or waive, or permit to be assigned, amended, abrogated, or waived, the aforementioned, or any provision thereof.

  • The Project Implementing Entity shall prepare Environmental Management Plans and Resettlement Action Plans, all in form and substance satisfactory to the Association, as required in accordance with the provisions of the Environmental and Social Management Framework and the Resettlement Policy Framework, as the case may be.

  • The Recipient shall ensure that the Project is implemented in accordance with the guidelines, procedures, recommendations, and other specifications set forth in the ESMF, the RPF, the Environmental and Social Impact Assessments, Environmental Management Plans, and Resettlement Action Plans, as the case may be, and, except as the Association shall otherwise agree, shall not amend or waive any provision of the aforementioned frameworks, assessments and plans.

  • Yunnan shall maintain policies and procedures adequate to enable it to monitor and evaluate on an ongoing basis, in accordance with indicators acceptable to the Association, the carrying out of the Project, including the Yunnan Resettlement Action Plans and the Environmental Action Plans, as well as the achievement of the objectives thereof.

  • After furnishing each report referred to in paragraph 2 above, Yunnan shall review said report with the Association, and promptly take all measures required to ensure the efficient completion of the Project (including, when applicable, the carrying out of the Resettlement Action Plans and the Environmental Action Plans) and the achievement of the objectives thereof, based on the conclusions and recommendations of said report and the Association’s views on the matter.


More Definitions of Resettlement Action Plans

Resettlement Action Plans means, collectively, the Suzhou RAP and the Wuxi RAP and any resettlement action plan that is prepared and approved by the Bank pursuant to the provisions of paragraph 3(b) of Schedule 2 to the Project Agreement; and “Resettlement Action Plan” means, individually, any of the “Resettlement Action Plans.”
Resettlement Action Plans means, collectively, following plans which set out the principles and procedures governing the acquisition of land and other assets, and the resettlement, compensation and rehabilitation of Displaced Persons on account of the Project, as well as monitoring and reporting arrangements to ensure compliance with said plans, as the same may be revised from time to time with the prior agreement of the Bank:
Resettlement Action Plans or the acronym “RAPs” means, collectively, each of the Resettlement Action Plans, dated August 24, 2010, adopted by the Project Implementing Entity (Anhui), which plans set out, inter alia: (a) the principles and procedures governing land acquisition, resettlement, compensation and rehabilitation of Displaced Persons on account of the execution of the Project; and (b) reporting and monitoring arrangements to ensure compliance with said plans, as said RAPs may be revised from time to time with the prior written agreement of the Bank; and “Resettlement Action Plan” means, individually, any of the Resettlement Action Plans.
Resettlement Action Plans means, collectively, the Zhenhai RAP, Jiangdongnan RAP, Cicheng RAP, Dongqian Lake RAP, Shaoxing RAP, and Hangzhou RAP; and a “Resettlement Action Plan” means, individually, any of said Resettlement Action Plans.
Resettlement Action Plans means, collectively, the Recipient’s plans, dated December 26 and 29, 2010, respectively, agreed with the Association and adopted pursuant to the Recipient’s Decision No. 167/QD-UBND dated January 27, 2011, setting out mitigation, enhancement, monitoring, and institutional measures, including capacity building through training, to carry out acquisition of land and related assets under the Project and compensation, resettlement, and rehabilitation of Project Affected Persons, as the same may be modified from time to time with the prior written agreement of the Association, and such term includes any annexes or schedules to such plans.
Resettlement Action Plans means, collectively, the Resettlement Action Plan adopted by Jinzhou dated February 2006; the Resettlement Action Plan adopted by Panjin dated October 2005; the Resettlement Action Plan adopted by Liaoyang dated October 2005; the Resettlement Action Plan adopted by Fushun dated December 2005; the Resettlement Action Plan adopted by Benxi dated December 2005; the Resettlement Action Plan adopted by Xxxxxx dated February 2006; which said plans set out the principles and procedures governing the acquisition of land and other assets, and the resettlement, compensation and rehabilitation of Displaced Persons on account of the Project CitiesRespective Parts of the Project, as well as monitoring and reporting arrangements to ensure compliance with said plans, as the same may be revised from time to time with the prior agreement of the Bank; and “Resettlement Action Plan” means, individually, either of the Resettlement Action Plans.
Resettlement Action Plans or “RAPs” means, collectively, the Project Implementing Entities’ plans, dated March 2002, adopted by the MOIT through its Decision No. 1252/QD-KHDT dated May 27, 2002 pursuant to the Recipient’s Prime Minister’s Decision No. 407/QD-TTg dated May 24, 2002, agreed with the Association for purposes of carrying out the compensation, rehabilitation, and resettlement of Affected Persons under their Respective Parts of the Project, as such plans may be amended from time to time with the prior written agreement of the Association, and such term includes any annexes or schedules to such plans, and “RAP” means any one (1) of such plans.
