Part C of the Project. 1. In order to achieve the objectives of Part C of the Project, the Borrower shall maintain arrangements, satisfactory to the Association, pursuant to which the Borrower shall select Sub-projects to be carried out under Part C of the Project. When presenting a Sub-project to the Association for approval, the Borrower shall furnish to the Association an application, in form satisfactory to the Association, together with an appraisal of the proposed Sub-project, including a description of the expenditures proposed to be financed out of the proceeds of the Credit. 2. Unless otherwise agreed by the Borrower and the Association, no expenditures for works required for a Sub-project shall be eligible for financing out of the proceeds of the Credit allocated from time to time to Part C of the Project unless the Borrower shall have furnished to the Association: (i) an environmental and social management plan relating to the proposed Sub-project, prepared pursuant to the principles, policies and guidelines set out in ESMP and the Framework, together with evidence, satisfactory to the Association, that the Sub-project shall not involve any involuntary resettlement of local population; (ii) a feasibility study concerning the proposed Sub-project, including an economic justification, satisfactory in substance to the Association, demonstrating that the internal rate of return of the proposed Sub-project equals or exceeds twelve percent (12%).

Part C of the Project. (a) The Borrower shall not commence any work under Part C.1 of the Project in an area, until the beneficiary community has carried out all the manual routine and periodic road maintenance work in the area and has undertaken at least 15% of the road rehabilitation work needed to be carried out in the area. (b) For the purposes of Part C.1 of the Project, the Borrower shall, through MTPT, enter into an Agreement with the authorized representatives of each beneficiary community. The terms of the Agreement shall be satisfactory to the Association and shall include MTPT obtaining rights adequate to protect the interests of the Borrower and the Association.
Part C of the Project. (a) The Borrower shall: (i) monitor the implementation of Part C of the Project in accordance with the monitoring programs set out in the EMP; (ii) not later than the end of the First Project Year, and not later than the end of each Project Year thereafter, undertake, in conjunction with the Bank, EIB, Cameroon, CHEVRON CHAD, ESSO CHAD, PETRONAS CHAD and COTCO, a joint annual review on all matters relating to the progress of Part C of the Project and, in particular the progress achieved by the Borrower, Cameroon and COTCO during the current fiscal year, having regard to the performance indicators referred to in paragraph (a) of Schedule 2 to the COTCO Project Agreement; (iii) not later than two months prior to each annual review, furnish to the Bank, for its comments, a report prepared by COTCO in such detail as the Bank shall reasonably request, on the progress of Part C the Project; and (iv) following each annual review, if the Borrower, the Bank, EIB, Cameroon, ESSO CHAD and COTCO shall so agree, act promptly and diligently in order to take, or assist COTCO in taking, any corrective action deemed necessary to remedy any shortcoming identified in the implementation of Part C of the Project, or to implement, or assist COTCO in implementing, such measures as may have been agreed upon between such parties in furtherance of the Objectives of the Project.
Part C of the Project. 1. Unless the Borrower and the Bank otherwise agree, Banque d’Algérie shall carry out Part C of the Project in accordance, inter alia, with the provisions of a protocol, whose substance shall be satisfactory to the Bank, entered into between MPT and Banque d’Algérie which shall, inter alia, define the responsibilities and obligations of Banque d’Algérie and MPT, respectively, in relation to the carrying out of Part C of the Project, and set out the conditions under which MPT shall operate the telecommunications networks to be established thereunder. 2. Without prejudice to the provisions of paragraph B.1 above, the Borrower shall exchange views with the Bank with respect to the study referred to under paragraph 3 (b) of Schedule 1 to this Agreement and shall, not later than three calendar months following the date on which the Bank shall have received the said study, carry out the study’s recommendations taking into account the Bank’s comments thereon.
Part C of the Project. The Borrower shall implement the Project in accordance with the timetable and specifications described in the Project Implementation Manual.
Part C of the Project. The Borrower shall establish an MIS system, satisfactory to the Association, to monitor and report on a quarterly basis both the physical progress and financial status of Project.
Part C of the Project. The Borrower shall continue to maintain: (1) an Employment Services Unit within MOLSP, with terms of reference satisfactory to the Borrower and the Bank, to be responsible for the administration and execution of Part C of the Project; and (2) a task force for the development of career information for occupational counselors, under terms of reference satisfactory to the Borrower and the Bank, within the committee referred to in paragraph 4 (b) of Part B of this Schedule, with representatives of employers, employees, higher education institutions, training institutions and labor market statisticians, to assist MOLSP in the carrying out of the improvement of occupational counseling under Part C (2) of the Project.

Part C of the Project. Section 3.01. The Guarantor shall carry out Part C of the Project with due diligence and efficiency and in conformity with appropriate administrative, economic, environmental, financial, and technical practices, and shall provide, promptly as needed, the funds, facilities, services and other resources required for the purpose. Section 3.02. The Guarantor shall carry out the obligations set forth in Sections 9.06, 9.07, 9.08 and 9.09 of the General Conditions (relating to plans and schedules, records and reports and maintenance and land acquisition, respectively) in respect of Part C of the Project. Section 3.03. For purposes of ensuring the timely implementation and viability of Part C of the Project, the Guarantor shall: (a) carry out the study under Part C of the Project under terms of reference satisfactory to the Bank not later than March 31, 1996; and (b) on the basis of the conclusions and recommendations of the said study, commence implementation of Part C of the Project not later than November 1, 1996. Section 3.04. In order to assist the Guarantor in carrying out Part C of the Project, the Guarantor shall employ, as necessary, consultants whose qualifications, experience and terms and conditions of employment shall be satisfactory to the Bank. Section 3.05. The Guarantor shall: (a) maintain policies and procedures adequate to enable it to monitor and evaluate on an ongoing basis, in accordance with indicators satisfactory to the Bank, the carrying out of Part C of the Project and the achievement of the objectives thereof; (b) prepare, under terms of reference satisfactory to the Bank, and furnish to the Bank, by February 28, 1997, a report integrating the results of the monitoring and evaluation activities performed pursuant to paragraph (a) of this Section, on the progress achieved in the carrying out of Part C of the Project during the period preceding the date of said report, with a special focus on the measures undertaken in conjunction with the Borrower; and setting out the measures recommended to ensure the efficient carrying out of Part C of the Project and the achievement of the objectives thereof during the period following such date; and (c) review with the Bank and the Borrower, by April 30, 1997, the report referred to in paragraph (b) of this Section, and, thereafter, take all measures required to ensure the efficient completion of the Project and the achievement of the objectives thereof, based on the conclusions and recommendations ...
Part C of the Project. 1. The Social Assistance Sub-component shall be implemented by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy in cooperation with the Statistical Agency. 2. The Actuarial Analysis Sub-component shall be implemented by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy (MOLSP). A coordinating committee will be maintained consisting of representatives from concerned agencies. The Borrower shall ensure that MOLSP shall, by the time the technical assistance is contracted: (i) identify and assign three staff members to work in the Actuarial Unit, and (ii) maintain an Automation Unit in the Social Assistance Department and staff it with two full-time professionals.
Part C of the Project. 1. The Borrower shall carry out the training under Part C of the Project in accordance with training programs satisfactory to the Association, and to this end, by November 30 of each year, commencing on November 30, 1996, the Borrower shall, through SBV, prepare and furnish to the Association, for its approval, the proposed training programs for each forthcoming calendar year, and thereafter implement such training programs as so approved. 2. The Borrower shall maintain, within SBV, the Project Management Unit including the following sub-units: accreditation, Sub-loan application, accounting and supervision, headed by a qualified and experienced Project Manager and with qualified and experienced officers to head each sub-unit, and assigned with such funds, staffing and responsibilities as shall be required to adequately undertake, inter alia: (a) accreditation of each Participating Financial Institution and of the Bank for the Poor, respectively; (b) review and approval of Sub-loan applications, as the case may be; and (c) accounting, supervision and reporting activities under the Project. 3. The Borrower shall by December 31, 1996, establish and there- after maintain within SBV a monitoring and evaluation system, satisfactory to the Association, for the various activities under the Project, including the following financial indicators with respect to the Participating Financial Institutions and the Bank for the Poor: (i) on the Sub-loans, repayments, profitability and operating costs as a percentage of funds loaned; and (ii) on their financial operations, solvency, liquidity and profitability. 4. The Borrower shall, through SBV: (a) on January 1, April 1, July 1 and October 1 of each year, commencing on October 1, 1996 and thereafter, furnish to the Association for its review and comments, a report on the progress of Parts A and B of the Project in such detail as the Association shall reasonably request; and (b) on January 1 and July 1 of each year, commencing on January 1, 1997 and thereafter, furnish to the Association for its review and comments, a report on the progress of Part C of the Project in such detail as the Association shall reasonably request.
