Independent Member of the board means a member of the board who has no business, family or other relationship that raises a conflict of interests regarding the CCP concerned or its controlling shareholders, its management or its clearing members, and who has had no such relationship during the five years preceding his membership of the board;
Membership Unit means an outstanding common membership unit of the LLC.
Student Member means the member of ICCB who has been selected by ICCB's Student Advisory Committee. The student member has all the privileges of membership defined in Section 2-3 of the Act.
Membership Units means the limited liability company interests in the Company held by the Members, expressed as a number of units held by each Member and set forth opposite such Member's name on Schedule I attached hereto, as amended, modified or supplemented from time to time.
Membership Interest means a Member’s entire interest in the Company including such Member’s right to receive allocations and distributions pursuant to this Agreement and the right to participate in the management of the business and affairs of the Company in accordance with this Agreement, including the right to vote on, consent to, or otherwise participate in any decision or action of or by the Members granted pursuant to this Agreement.
Permitted Transferee Any Transferee of a Residual Certificate other than a Disqualified Organization or Non-United States Person.
Co-opted Member means a person who is not a member of the authority but who-
sub-unit means, with respect to any currency other than euro, the lowest amount of such currency that is available as legal tender in the country of such currency and, with respect to euro, means one cent.
Unit owner means the declarant or other person who owns a unit, or a lessee of a unit in a leasehold common interest community whose lease expires simultaneously with any lease, the expiration or termination of which will remove the unit from the common interest community but does not include a person having an interest in a unit solely as security for an obligation. In a condominium or planned community, the declarant is the owner of any unit created by the declaration until that unit is conveyed to another person, in a cooperative, the declarant is treated as the owner of any unit to which allocated interests have been allocated pursuant to section 38-33.3-207 until that unit has been conveyed to another person, who may or may not be a declarant under this article.
