CONDITIONS OF USE OF THE BIKE(S) AND. ACCESSORIES From the provision of the Bike(s) and Accessories, the Renter has custody of them and is solely responsible for them as well as the consequences that may result from their use. MBV undertakes to make the bikes and their accessories available in perfect working order. Both parties agree in advance on the condition of the bike. The Renter is solely responsible for violations of the Highway Code relating to the driving or custody of the Bike(s) and Accessories, or any other violation of laws, taxes and regulations in force, committed during the term of the contract. The Tenant is responsible for fines, minutes and contraventions and undertakes to reimburse the amount to MBV if it was required to make the advance or if the contravention arrives at the post of the rental. In case of intervention of MBV in the payment of these fines, contraventions or PV, will invoice the Tenant a lump sum of 25 Euros per intervention as part of the administrative fees. The Renter undertakes to take all measures to avoid damage, theft or fraudulent subtraction of the Bike(s) and Accessories. In particular, he undertakes, when the Bike(s) and Accessories are parked, to attach it to a fixed element using the anti-theft device provided by MBV. The Renter uses the Bike(s) and Accessories in good faith and taking all precautions that MBV is entitled to expect. The Renter acknowledges having received and read the handling of the electric bike and in particular the instructions for charging; also the good handling and use of the other bikes made available as part of the rental chosen by the Tenant. The Renter undertakes to respect the following indications: The transport of a person on the luggage rack is strictly prohibited. Children (maximum weight of 22 kg) must be carried on a child seat (if the Renter opts for it). The baskets (if the Tenant opts for) are reserved for the transport of non-bulky objects, within the limit of 2 kg; The Renter undertakes not to modify or add anything to the Bikes or Scooters and accessories. The Renter acknowledges having taken note of the fact that MBV provides helmets for each rented bike and strongly advises adults to wear the helmet, for safety reasons. For minors under 12 years of age, wearing a helmet has been mandatory since 22 March 2017.
