Academic Promotions. Each year the University will advertise an internal Academic Promotion process for promotion to Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor and Professor. The Academic Promotions process is based on the following principles:  Criteria is published and available to all academic staff; and,  Assessment is on the merit of the application made by the applicant. Nothing in this Agreement precludes an additional public or invitational Academic Promotions round. In the event that the application is unsuccessful, the Committee will provide the applicant with written advice that provides relevant information and guidance to inform the unsuccessful applicant where the application was considered not to have met the general selection criteria. The management of Academic Promotions will be in accordance with the University policy and procedures on Academic Promotions.

Promotions Having Effect after September 1, 2007 “Subject to modification by the applicable provisions, if any, of any successor agreement to this Agreement, the provisions of the preceding subsection 1 shall apply, mutatis mutandis, with effect on the appropriate September 1, to any member of the bargaining unit who shall have been promoted with effect on any September 1 that follows September 1, 2007.
Academic Promotions. The current arrangements for staff in the academic job families to progress from Grade E to Grade F and from Grade F to Grade G will continue in 2020/21. The biannual arrangements for staff in the academic job families to progress from Grade G to Grade H and from Grade H (Associate Professor) to Professor will be suspended in 2020/21. Applications made in the 2019/20 academic year will continue through to their conclusion. Exceptionally, fast- track applications will be considered to retain an employee who holds an offer from a competitor institution. The University will review this suspension in the Spring Term 2021 and may, subject to student numbers and funding, reinstate the Spring/Summer Term promotion cycle, with salary increases taking effect from 1 August 2021. Otherwise the next academic promotion cycle will take place in the Autumn Term 2021. Professorial Salary Review 2020 The biennial Professorial Salary Review 2020 scheduled to take place in the Autumn Term 2020 will take place in the Autumn Term 2021. Any increases agreed will be implemented from 1 August 2021.

  • Academic Program A. Upon successful completion of the major requirements, as indicated below in III.B, SDSU will accept 38 technical course credits from the A.A.S. degree in Business – Business and Technology. Additional transferable system general education credits may be earned at WDT and may be transferred to SDSU. Students must meet all Board of Regents policies and university graduation requirements in order to receive a degree. B. Requirements to be completed at SDSU to earn a Bachelor of Science or a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Entrepreneurial Studies are outlined below. The general education coursework to meet South Dakota Regental System’s General Education Requirements (SGR) must also be completed as outlined below. This coursework may be taken at WDT if equivalent courses are available. Please note that BOR Policy 2.5 states, “Total transfer credit for work at two-year technical or community college may not exceed one-half of the hours required for completion of the baccalaureate degree at the accepting institution unless an approved program-specific waiver exists.” For this program, that number is 60 credits. 1.   • Academic Year Academic Year is defined as beginning with the start of fall semester and ending with the completion of spring semester.

  • Commercialization Intrexon shall have the right to develop and Commercialize the Reverted Products itself or with one or more Third Parties, and shall have the right, without obligation to Fibrocell, to take any such actions in connection with such activities as Intrexon (or its designee), at its discretion, deems appropriate.

  • Sales Promotions In addition to decreasing prices for the balance of the Contract term due to a change in market conditions, the Contractor may conduct sales promotions involving price reductions for a specified lesser period. The Contractor must submit documentation identifying the proposed: (1) starting and ending dates of the promotion, (2) commodities or contractual services involved, and (3) promotional prices compared to then-authorized prices.

  • Promotion A promotion shall mean the transfer of an employee to a higher level position of more responsibility as well as salary.

  • Advertising and Promotional Materials The Purchaser acknowledges and agrees that the Vendor shall have the right to use drawings, photographs, videos or other depictions of the interior and/or exterior of the Dwelling and/or the Subdivision or any components or features thereof in any promotional or advertising materials without notice to or consent from the Purchaser being required in any manner whatsoever.

  • Curriculum Development This includes the analysis and coordination of textual materials; constant review of current literature in the field, some of which are selected for the college library collection, the preparation of selective, descriptive materials such as outlines and syllabi; conferring with other faculty and administration on curricular problems; and, the attendance and participation in inter and intra-college conferences and advisory committees.

  • Advertising and Promotion Al. ARTIST is to receive 100% star billing on all publicity releases and paid advertisement including - without limitations - programs, electronic media, flyers, signage, newspaper advertisements, marquees, tickets, radio spots, TV spots, etc. unless otherwise authorized in writing by PRODUCER. Billing on all advertising and publicity materials must appear as follows: A2. PURCHASER agrees to use only artwork, ad mats, photos and/or promotional materials provided or approved by PRODUCER. Publicity photos, bios and other assets can be downloaded from xxx.xxxxxxxx.xxx/xxxxxxxxxxxxxx PURCHASER shall supply all publicity and marketing materials to PRODUCER for review and approval prior to PURCHASER’s print deadlines and/or online launches.
