Grading Structure. The grading structure applicable to this Framework Agreement for Supplier Staff is as follows: 1 Trainee Consultant / Accountant / Auditor Graduate with technical competence relevant to the requirement specified by the client, or; A qualified AAT technician or part qualified accountant (CCAB), or; An auditor undergoing professional training for an internal audit or accountancy qualification.

Grading Structure. The grading structure applicable to this Framework Agreement for Supplier Staff is as follows:
Grading Structure. Grade 1 team member (i) Ability to apply basic interpersonal communication and numeracy skills to satisfy the work requirements to this level; (ii) Ability to identify and apply quality and housekeeping requirements within the scope of this level; and (iii) Ability to identify and apply the requirements of Occupational Health & Safety legislation and company policy and procedures. Distribution Training/Duties (i) Complete induction program; (ii) Train in a certified first aid course (achieve a first aid certificate); (iii) Train in interpersonal communication; (iv) Train in team building; (v) Train in order picking; (vi) Train in palletising stock; (vii) Train in customer service; (viii) Train in stocktake procedures; (ix) Train in housekeeping of the workplace, equipment & grounds and waste control; (x) Train in preliminary forklift/material handling; and (xi) Train in workplace health and safety. (i) Ability to maintain and clean equipment, premises and grounds to Company requirements; and (ii) Ability to assist in the removal or adjustment of equipment to facilitate housekeeping tasks. All team member regardless of their previous work experience will be required to complete this classification. During this period of training the Training Officer/Manager will review the team member’s progress on a regular basis. On completing these training modules and reaching an acceptable assessed level of performance, the team member will proceed to Grade 2. The maximum period that a team member will be a Grade 1 team member will be 6 months, during which time the team member will be given the opportunity to be deemed competent in performing the duties of the position. A team member may be dismissed if unable to complete these basic modules or is considered unsuitable for the duties required to perform at this level. A team member at this level works under general supervision within established routines, methods and procedures. They exercise limited discretion and are responsible for the quality of their own work. Grading Structure. 1.1. A revised grading structure will be introduced which will provide Workshop Staff with enhanced promotional opportunities based on competence. 1.2. The following Grading Structure will be introduced :- Role Band Key Activities Production Manager A Lead Production team, plan workload, manage training & competence and produce relevant KPI reporting. B Systems Technician A Lead Technical investigations, support technical development of production team and monitor technical performance. Technician 1 A Undertake fault investigations, component repair and exchange. Technician 2 A Undertake component exchange and examination tasks. Technician 3 A Undertake operational duties including shunting, driving and train preparation. Materials Handlers A Control materials within stores facility, receipt & dispatch good and prepare exam kitting. Technical Training Assessors A Develop and deliver technical, operational and QHSE training for production team & support competence assessment process. Train Presentation Supervisor A Lead Train Presentation team, plan workload, manage training & competence and produce relevant KPI reporting. 1.3. Selection for any of the above grades will be based on the candidates level of competence and will be subject to applicants meeting Railway Group Standards for medical and aptitude assessment selection criteria (See sections 5 & 9) 1.4. Members of staff who have been trained and who have passed and have maintained competency in the tasks and responsibilities of any activity undertaken by Xxxxxxx Rail Service UK Ltd. may be used to undertake those responsibilities if required to do so by the Company. 1.5. Assimilation of current grades to revised grades will be the subject of separate discussions with Company Council Representatives. For the purposes of aiding comparisons between the present and proposed grading structure, Appendix 1 gives an indication of how current grades fit into the proposed structure.

Grading Structure. 4.1 There are 3 grades within the Metro Fleet Engineering Department;  Technician: This grade encompasses the previous 'skilled grades', Signals and Telecommunication Technicians, Electrical Technicians, Mechanical Technicians and Coach Builders.  Assistant Technician: This grade is the previous semi-skilled staff Depot Operative within Maintenance and Production.  Train Care Staff: This grade is the cleaning staff.

Grading Structure. 7.1.1 The grading classification of a new Employee will be based on an assessment on skills acquired. This assessment will be conducted jointly by the Employee’s Supervisor, Team Leader, the Employee, and the Plant Manager. 7.1.2 The grading classification of existing Employees will be based on an assessment of the skills currently held. This assessment will be conducted jointly by the Employee’s Supervisor, Team Leader, the Employee, and the Plant Manager. 7.1.3 Consistent with their classification, all Employees will assist other Employees in gaining new skills. 7.1.4 In the event of a dispute over the grading of an Employee, all parties will attempt to resolve before referring to clause 28 Dispute Settlement Procedure. 7.1.5 All Employees will have their grading classification reviewed with Plant Manager on request.
Grading Structure. Following is the grading structure and the proposed task/competency alignments for each work group. Entry/Induction. Training to align with achieving Grade 2 competencies. Achievement of a selected number of entry level competencies required. Competencies selected are a mix of generic and operational competencies applied in a narrow range of areas. This grade equates to about half of grade 2 requirements. Grade 2 Working at this level defines a competent field officer undertaking a moderate range of operational tasks. Completion of competencies at this level predominantly fit with national certificate AQF Level 2. Grade 3 Predominantly equates with to a higher Specialised competencies required to progress to this grade.
