ACCOMMODATION AND SUBSISTENCE ALLOWANCE. 16.1 Meal and accommodation expenses are payable by the producer at the full rates of the Danish Tax Authority’s circular on hourly and per diem allowances. The producer may also choose to provide board and lodging for the film crew. In that case, the standard thereof is subject to approval by the spokesman. Compensation for special circumstances can be agreed between the producer and the spokesman.

ACCOMMODATION AND SUBSISTENCE ALLOWANCE. 2.1 Hotel or other accommodation (Bed & Breakfast) is permitted at a three star rating hotel to a maximum rate of R850-00/night. If such accommodation to the maximum allowed rate or rating is not available, reasonable alternatives may be used. Motivation for the use of such alternatives must accompany claims. Invoices of actual costs must be submitted in all cases. 2.2 The maximum daily subsistence allowance for meals and beverages for trips away from the base for periods as indicated, are as follows: Less than 12 hrs : R114-00 Between 12 to 24 hrs : R225-00 More than 24 hrs (excluding hotel) : R163-00 2.3 Accommodation and subsistence allowances in excess of R5 000-00 per month per person must be approved beforehand by SANRAL. 2.4 Actual costs incurred by the Consulting Firm will be subject to a surcharge in terms of section 14 of this Annexure.
ACCOMMODATION AND SUBSISTENCE ALLOWANCE. When employees work on a project which requires overnight accommodation: a. They will be paid a daily subsistence allowance of fifty ($50.00) per day spent out of town. b. They will be provided with suitable accommodation arranged by and paid for by the Employer. c. Employees performing working in Northern Ontario as specified in Schedule “C” shall receive an additional two dollars ($2.00) per hour for all hours worked. d. Employees shall not pay the vehicle charge as specified in Article 15.10.

  • Subsistence Allowance a) In all instances the subsistence allowance per calendar day worked shall be as follows: Effective February 27, 2022 as determined by the quadrant subsistence review b) An Employee shall forfeit subsistence allowance for absenteeism or leaving work without written permission on any working day. When the Employee is absent or leaves work without written permission on the working day immediately preceding or following bad weather days or recognized holidays, they shall forfeit subsistence allowance for such absenteeism or leaving work without written permission and for the bad weather days or recognized holidays. The above forfeiture of subsistence allowance shall be waived when the Employee’s absenteeism on any working day is due to a bona fide illness or absence due to compassionate grounds satisfactory to the Employer and the Union Representative. Forfeiture of subsistence allowance may also be waived in other cases if the reason for absenteeism is acceptable to the Employer and the Union Representative. Written permission to leave work shall be in the form of the Leave of Absence Request form attached as Appendix “F” to this agreement. Upon a specific request by the Union, the Employer shall forward a copy of an Employee’s Leave of Absence Request form. It is not intended that such forms be requested by the Union for all Employees.

  • Disbursement of the Tenant Improvement Allowance Except as otherwise set forth in this Work Letter, the Tenant Improvement Allowance shall be disbursed by Landlord (each of which disbursements shall be made pursuant to Landlord’s disbursement process, which disbursement process shall require the Architect to make field verifications and written certifications as required by Landlord in connection with Landlord’s disbursements to Contractor (as defined below)) only for the following items and costs (collectively the “Tenant Improvement Allowance Items”): (a) Payment of (i) the fees of the Architect and the Engineers (as defined below), (ii) charges for Landlord’s construction consultant and Building engineer, and (iii) the fees incurred by, and the cost of documents and materials supplied by, Landlord and Landlord’s consultants in connection with the preparation and review of the Construction Drawings (as defined below); (b) The payment of plan check, permit and license fees relating to construction of the Tenant Improvements; (c) The cost of construction of the Tenant Improvements, including, without limitation, any cost of after-hours freight elevator usage; (d) The cost of any changes in the Base, Shell, and Core when such changes are required by the Construction Drawings, such cost to include all direct architectural and/or engineering fees and expenses incurred in connection therewith; (e) The cost of any changes to the Construction Drawings or Tenant Improvements required by applicable laws and building codes (collectively, “Code”); (f) Sales and use taxes; and (g) All other costs to be expended by Landlord in connection with the construction of the Tenant Improvements. In no event shall the Tenant Improvement Allowance Items include any costs of procuring or installing in the Premises any trade fixtures, equipment, furniture, furniture partitions or systems, furnishings, telephone, telecommunications, data and security wiring, cabling and equipment, or other personal property (“Personal Property”) to be used in the Premises by Tenant, and the cost of such Personal Property shall be paid by Tenant.

  • Automobile Allowance The Company shall provide the Executive with an automobile allowance in the amount of $1,000.00 per month to be allocated at the Executive’s discretion, or such other monthly amount designated by the Board, and that allowance shall be payable in regular installments in accordance with the Company’s general payroll practices.

  • Meal Allowance A shift worker who works a qualifying shift of eight hours or the rostered shift, whichever is the greater, and who is required to work more than one hour beyond the end of the shift (excluding any break for a meal) shall be paid a meal allowance of $7.95, or, at the option of the employer, be provided with a meal.

  • Parental Allowance (a) An employee who has been granted parental leave without pay, shall be paid a parental allowance in accordance with the terms of the Supplemental Unemployment Benefit (SUB) Plan described in paragraphs (c) to (i), providing he or she: (i) has completed six (6) months of continuous employment before the commencement of parental leave without pay, (ii) provides the Employer with proof that he or she has applied for and is in receipt of parental, paternity or adoption benefits under the Employment Insurance or Québec Parental Insurance Plan in respect of insurable employment with the Employer, and (iii) has signed an agreement with the Employer stating that: (A) the employee will return to work on the expiry date of his/her parental leave without pay, unless the return to work date is modified by the approval of another form of leave; (B) Following his or her return to work, as described in section (A), the employee will work for a period equal to the period the employee was in receipt of the parental allowance, in addition to the period of time referred to in section 17.02(a)(iii)(B), if applicable; (C) should he or she fail to return to work in accordance with section (A), for reasons other than death, lay-off, early termination due to lack of work or discontinuance of a function of a specified period of employment that would have been sufficient to meet the obligations specified in section (B), or having become disabled as defined in the Public Service Superannuation Act, he or she will be indebted to the Employer for the full amount of the parental allowance he or she has received. Should he or she return to work but fail to work the total period specified in section (B), for reasons other than death, lay-off, early termination due to lack of work or discontinuance of a function of a specified period of employment that would have been sufficient to meet the obligations specified in section (B), or having become disabled as defined in the Public Service Superannuation Act, he or she will be indebted to the Employer for an amount determined as follows: (allowance received) X (remaining period to be worked following his/her return to work) [total period to be worked as specified in (B)] however, an employee whose specified period of employment expired and who is rehired by OSFI within a period of thirty (30) days or less is not indebted for the amount if his or her new period of employment is sufficient to meet the obligations specified in section (B). (b) For the purpose of sections (a)(iii)(B), and (C), periods of leave with pay shall count as time worked. Periods of leave without pay during the employee's return to work will not be counted as time worked but shall interrupt the period referred to in section (a)(iii)(B), without activating the recovery provisions described in section (a)(iii)(C). (c) Parental Allowance payments made in accordance with the SUB Plan will consist of the following: (i) where an employee is subject to a waiting period of two (2) weeks before receiving Employment Insurance parental benefits, ninety-three per cent (93%) of his/her weekly rate of pay for each week of the waiting period, less any other monies earned during this period; (ii) for each week the employee receives parental, adoption or paternity benefit under the Employment Insurance or the Québec Parental Insurance Plan, he/she is eligible to receive the difference between ninety-three per cent (93%) of his or her weekly rate and the parental, adoption or paternity benefit, less any other monies earned during this period which may result in a decrease in his/her parental, adoption or paternity benefit to which he/she would have been eligible if no extra monies had been earned during this period. (iii) where an employee becomes entitled to an extension of parental benefits pursuant to the Employment Insurance Act, the parental allowance payable under the SUB Plan described in subparagraph (ii) will be extended by the number of weeks of extended benefits which the employee receives under the EI Act. (d) At the employee's request, the payment referred to in subparagraph 17.05(c)(i) will be estimated and advanced to the employee. Adjustments will be made once the employee provides proof of receipt of EI or QPIP parental benefits. (e) The parental allowance to which an employee is entitled is limited to that provided in paragraph (c) and an employee will not be reimbursed for any amount that he or she is required to repay pursuant to the Employment Insurance Act or the Parental Insurance Act in Quebec. (f) The weekly rate of pay referred to in paragraph (c) shall be: (i) for a full-time employee, the employee's weekly rate of pay on the day immediately preceding the commencement of maternity or parental leave without pay; (ii) for an employee who has been employed on a part-time or on a combined full-time and part-time basis during the six (6) month period preceding the commencement of maternity or parental leave without pay, the rate obtained by multiplying the weekly rate of pay in subparagraph (i) by the fraction obtained by dividing the employee's straight time earnings by the straight time earnings the employee would have earned working full-time during such period. (g) The weekly rate of pay referred to in paragraph (f) shall be the rate to which the employee is entitled for the substantive level to which she or he is appointed. (h) Notwithstanding paragraph (g), and subject to subparagraph (f)(ii), if on the day immediately preceding the commencement of parental leave without pay an employee is performing an acting assignment for at least four (4) months, the weekly rate shall be the rate the employee was being paid on that day. (i) Where an employee becomes eligible for a pay increment or pay revision while in receipt of parental allowance, the allowance shall be adjusted accordingly. (j) Parental allowance payments made under the SUB Plan will neither reduce nor increase an employee's deferred remuneration or severance pay. (k) The maximum combined maternity and parental allowances payable under this collective agreement shall not exceed fifty-two (52) weeks.

  • Term of Agreement Miscellaneous A. This Agreement shall continue in force until the date that all Indemnified Obligations have been paid or discharged. B. This Agreement shall be interpreted and the rights and liabilities of the parties hereto determined in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona. C. Neither this Agreement nor any term hereof may be changed, waived, discharged, or terminated orally, but only by an instrument in writing signed by the party against whom the enforcement of the change, waiver, discharge, or termination is sought or, in the case of a default, by the non-defaulting party. The captions and article headings included in this Agreement are for convenience only, do not constitute part of this Agreement, and shall not be considered or referred to in interpreting the provisions of this Agreement. H. This Agreement may be executed in two or more counterparts, each of which shall be deemed to be an original, but all of which shall constitute one and the same instrument. The submission of a signature page transmitted by facsimile (or similar electronic transmission facility) shall be considered as an “original” signature page for purposes of this Agreement so long as the original signature page is thereafter transmitted by mail or by other delivery service and the original signature page is substituted for the facsimile signature page in the original and duplicate originals of this Agreement.

  • Relocation Allowance An employee who is promoted and required by agency policy to relocate his residence shall be granted time off with pay for one workday for this purpose. In addition, the employee shall be granted travel time to the new location based on the most direct route. No employee will be credited with more than the number of hours in the employee’s regular workday and such time shall not be counted as hours worked for the purpose of computing compensatory time or overtime.

  • Meal Allowances Employees assigned to be in travel status between the employee's temporary or permanent work station and a field assignment shall be reimbursed for the actual cost of meals including a reasonable gratuity. Employees must meet the following conditions to be eligible for meal reimbursement:

  • Housing Allowance During the Employment Period, Executive shall be entitled to receive a Cayman Islands housing allowance of US $6,000 per month. Executive will be responsible for any taxes due on such allowance.

  • Disbursement of Tenant Improvement Allowance During the construction of the Tenant Improvements, Landlord shall make monthly disbursements of the Tenant Improvement Allowance for Tenant Improvement Allowance Items for the benefit of Tenant and shall authorize the release of monies for the benefit of Tenant as follows.
