Common use of Accrual Clause in Contracts

Accrual. Full-time and part-time employees shall accumulate sick leave benefits at the rate of eight (8) hours for each 173.3 hours worked. No sick leave shall be allowed for a fractional calendar month of employment. Accrual of sick leave shall not exceed ninety-six (96) hours in an anniversary year. The maximum accumulation of sick leave shall be limited to 800 hours per employee.
