Accrued Vacation Leave. 9.2.4.1 An officer may accumulate a maximum of two (2) years of accrued vacation. When the accumulated vacation balance exceeds these limits, the officer ceases to earn vacation until such time as the vacation balance is reduced below the maximum earnable. Officers who reduce their contract (partial unpaid leave, extended sick leave) have vacation accrual prorated by the percent of contract reduced.
