Accumulated Sick Time. Each police officer shall be allowed sick leave in the event of illness. Each officer will accumulate one and one-half days per month to a maximum of 676 days in 2001, which shall be increased by 22 additional days each year thereafter.
Accumulated Sick Time. No accumulated sick time shall be credited to an employee hired by the Township Trustees from any other prior employment except that any employee returning to full-time employment with the Township who had been granted a leave of absence of one (1) year or less and who returns within the confines of the time limits of the leave shall have his accumulated sick time reinstated.
Accumulated Sick Time. Employees are eligible for a total of six (6) days per year to be accumulated at the rate of one-half (½) day per month, when at least ten (10) days pay at straight-time rates has been received for each month. Unused sick days at the end of the year will be added at the end of the following year's vacation.
Accumulated Sick Time. If at the time Eligible Employee xxxxxx employment with the University Eligible Employee is entitled, in accordance with the University’s personnel policies and/or collective bargaining agreement, to payment for accumulated sick time, such payment, less applicable taxes and normal withholdings, shall be made in accordance with the University’s personnel policies and the terms of the Voluntary Early Retirement Incentive Plan.
Accumulated Sick Time. The parties agree that an employee may make a one time election to redeem accrued sick-time accumulated prior to the introduction of for cash payment calculated at fifty (50%) percent of accrued banked hours at an employee’s current hourly rate of pay to a maximum of sixty days. Employees will be advised by memo of this one-time option and will have until April to respond. A lack of response will indicate that no pay-out is desired. Responses must be hand delivered to the Human Resource Department. If an employee chooses to receivea pay-out, pay-out shall be made over three (3)years as follows: No later than May one-third of total accumulated time. No later than May one-third of total accumulated time. No later than May one-third of total accumulated sick- time.
