Act of God Day. In the event an Act-of-God day coincides with a previously scheduled vacation day, the employee shall not be charged with a vacation day and shall have the right to reschedule the day at a later time.

Act of God Day. Whenever an “Act of God” day occurs on a day that a teacher has been granted unpaid leave, that day will be forgiven, that is, not counted toward the number of unpaid leave days granted.
Act of God Day. 1. When the college or a campus is closed due to an Act of God Day, M&O employees are expected to report to work unless they are notified otherwise. All M&O employees will be treated like 8-5 employees. For example, if the College closes three hours early and M&O employees are not released with pay for three hours, then they will receive an extra three hours of straight time pay. Overtime is paid when the employee satisfies the normal rules for overtime which means the employee must have worked both over eight (8) hours in that day and over forty
Act of God Day. All day shift head custodians, mechanic, and grounds will report at their regular start time and will be expected to work their entire 8 hours at regular pay with a paid 30 minute lunch. If snow removal takes longer than 8 hours, pay will be time and one half. If snow removal takes less than 8 hours, above employees will work their remainder of their 8 hours shift in their building on projects/cleaning with a paid 30 minute lunch. A comp day of 8 hours will be given to all above employees who are required to report for an Act of God day.
Act of God Day. If school is closed by an “Act of God” as defined by state law, the day shall not be counted as a deductible sick day or a leave day.

  • Act of God Days A. Scheduled days of student instruction which are not held because of conditions not within the control of school authorities, such as inclement weather, fires, epidemics, mechanical breakdowns, or health conditions (as defined by city, county, or state health authorities) will be rescheduled to ensure that there are a minimum number of days of student instruction as prescribed by Michigan law.

  • Inclement Weather 24.1 This Inclement Weather clause sets out the full rights, obligations and entitlements of the parties and establishes the conditions under which payment for periods of inclement weather shall be made.

  • Unavoidable Delays Delays due to acts of God, acts of public agencies, labor disputes, strikes, fires, freight embargoes, inability (despite the exercise of due diligence) to obtain supplies, materials, fuels or permits, or other causes or contingencies (excluding financial inability) beyond the reasonable control of Landlord or Tenant, as applicable. Landlord shall use commercially reasonable efforts to provide Tenant with prompt notice of any Unavoidable Delays.

  • STRIKES OR LOCKOUTS 5.01 During the term of this Agreement, or while negotiations for a further agreement are being held the Union will not permit or encourage any strike, slowdown, or any stoppage of work or otherwise restrict or interfere with the Employer's operation through its members.
