Active Military. If Tenant is on active duty with the United States military and Tenant or an immediate family member of Tenant occupying Premises receives, during the term of this Lease, permanent change of station orders or temporary duty orders for a period in excess of three (3) months, Tenant’s obligation for rent hereunder shall not exceed: (1) thirty (30) days rent after Tenant gives notice under this section; and (2) the cost of repairing damage to Premises or Property caused by an act or omission of Tenant. If Xxxxxx is active duty military and presents to Landlord a copy of official orders of transfer to another military location, then and in that event, Tenant shall be required to give Landlord the notice to terminate early set forth elsewhere herein but shall have no obligation to pay an Early Lease Termination Administrative Fee or additional rent other than for thirty (30) days after Tenant gives notice under this section.

Active Military. A Tenant who is a military service member and who is transferred or deployed overseas on active duty MUST NOTIFY OWNER OF THE TRANSFER OR DEPLOYMENT.
Active Military. National Guard. A student will be released from the contract if they are called to active military duty so long as the student submits a Housing Contract Cancellation Request Form and a copy of their military orders. The student must have been in the military/National Guard prior to signing the Housing Contract to be considered for release.

Active Military. 16 In the case of active military deployments, the Human Resources Manager will reserve confidential 17 testing materials and will make arrangements for qualified candidates to take the entire exam by 18 xxxxxxx, if possible, or the candidate will be permitted to complete the process within sixty (60) days of 19 returning to work. After completion of the exam, the candidates score will be merged into the existing 20 list. A minimum of sixty (60) days of study time shall be provided. Study material shall be developed and 21 identified prior to the beginning of the 60-day study period.
23 C. A new promotional list shall be established upon completion of the testing of the applicants and will 24 remain valid for a period of 24 months, at which time a new series of exams will be given and a new list 25 established. Within 90 days of the expiration of each list, Human Resources will begin the process to 26 establish a new list.
27 a. Promotional Testing Dates shall be implemented as follows:
28 i. November 1st (or the first Monday thereafter) Human Resources shall announce the 29 beginning of the promotion application process.
30 ii. December 1st (or first Monday thereafter) application process shall be opened for 31 members to verify eligibility for promotion with Human Resources.
32 iii. January 1st (or first Monday thereafter) study materials shall be released to members 33 eligible to test.
34 iv. March 1st (or first Monday thereafter) Written portion of test is held.
35 v. March 15th (or first Monday thereafter) Oral Interview portion of test begins.
36 vi. April 1st (or first Monday thereafter) the final list shall be established and published.
37 vii. In order to implement the above with as little disruption to the current promotional 38 process as possible, the Sheriff and the Association agree that the promotional process to 39 establish a new list shall begin upon ratification of the contract. The list established 40 following ratification shall remain in effect until April 1, 2027.
41 viii. If the agency has exhausted 75% of the promotional list, they Sheriff may, at his discretion, 42 begin the promotional process prior to the 24 month period ending.
44 D. No officer is eligible to participate in the promotional process without first successfully completing the 45 full Law Enforcement Field Training Program. If an employee's most recent hire date was before the 46 Agency adopted a Field Training Program (1984) they are exempt from this provision.
