The Contractor shall advise the Authority as required on the Project. In particular, the Contractor must notify the Authority of any proposed deviation from the agreed protocol or if significant developments occur as a study progresses (including, but not limited to, the safety of individuals or the scientific direction). The Authority reserves the right to terminate this Agreement forthwith: should the Contractor be unwilling or unable for any reason to continue with the Project; or if, in the reasonable opinion of the Authority, the Contractor is consistently failing to achieve an acceptable standard in relation to the Project, and where the Authority terminates this Agreement pursuant to this clause, the Authority shall not be obliged to make any further financial payments to the Contractor.

If this occurs, the NC3Rs shall not be obliged to make any further financial payment to the Contractor and reserves the right to reclaim all or part of the funding provided to the Contractor in relation to the Project. 2.6. The Contractor must ensure that the Project is carried out in accordance with all applicable ethical, legal and regulatory requirements including but not limited to relevant provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation, the Data Protection Act 2018, the Bribery Act 2010, the Fraud Act 2006, the Equality Act 2010 and the Modern Slavery Act 2015. 2.7. The Contractor must ensure that the Project and any acquisitions made by the Contractor are compliant with the National Security and Investment (NSI) Act 2021.
