PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVES. 3. The Project described in the Host’s attached P2 Business Application is hereby incorporated in this Agreement by reference.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVES. B1.1. Project objectives Linked Heritage is a Best Practice Network (BPN), with the following complementary points of focus: To contribute large quantities of new content to Europeana, from both the public and private sectors (this is the most important focus of the project) To prepare for the enhancement of the quality of both new and existing Europeana content, in terms of its metadata richness, its re-use potential and its uniqueness To demonstrate improved search, retrieval and use of Europeana content, both within the Europeana portal and by third parties via the Europeana API. This will be achieved through Assembly of representative stakeholder groups (content providers, aggregators, ministries and policy bodies, technologists, private sector companies, associations, etc.) Consultation, consensus, networking, sharing of perspectives and priorities Identification and promotion of best practice - the most appropriate and useful standards, specifications and recommendations for the contribution, ingestion and enhancement of Europeana content Large scale implementation (including the necessary technology integration in compliance with the Europeana standards) and validations of the identified best practice standards and specifications. These will serve to provide to Europeana 3 millions new objects The preparation of a demonstrator how the improved specifications are to be applied and how to implement the enrichment of Europeana content. Training and dissemination to build capacity and awareness in the cultural heritage sector, particularly in the use of Linked Heritage technical outputs, but also in Europeana technologies. With regard to the training, this activity is only foreseen to facilitate the preparation of content for ingestion into Europeana and not as theoretical tasks or investigative workshops. In addition to the provision of the new content to Europeana, that is the most important focus of the project, Linked Heritage addresses the following issues complementarily:
PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVES. Analyze intersection alternatives for the intersection of US 41 and Xxxxxx Beach Road.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVES. B1.1 Project objectives The SMART CAMPUS project main objective is to implement 4 pilot buildings that will achieve a significant reduction in energy consumption through the use of innovative ICT based services that will act upon Energy Management Systems and control HVAC, Lighting and other appliances at Pilot buildings, on achieving energy efficiency by reducing unnecessary consumption (optimizing consumption), through dynamically negotiating building environmental (e.g. temperature, lighting) conditions with the users present at the University campus. The energy management systems present at the pilot University Campi will be integrated with ICT based services that interact with the building users, empowering them and providing guidance that will lead to user behaviour transformation towards more energy efficient practices. The possibility to actively interact in a dynamic way with the buildings energy management systems (something that usually is reserved to a centralized command operated by building managers or maintenance personnel) allows for the users to control the environmental conditions of their workspace in a way that until now is not possible, and become aware of their energy consuming habits in the process. The implementation of Living Lab methodologies will lead to the co-design and co-creation of the digital services with the users, insuring higher solution sustainability and better user requirement identification, which translates in a higher success rate of behaviour transformation and long term acceptance of the proposed solution. Table 1 presents the objectives to be achieved by the SMART CAMPUS project. Table 1 - Summary of Main Objectives of the SMART CAMPUS project Objectives Technical Objectives
PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVES. The Project partner, Community Care Northumberland (CCN), currently operates two transportation programs: specialized transportation and volunteer transportation. The specialized transportation program provides a combined rural service and accessible rides. Clients are charged a set fee for a pre-booked one-way or return trip. Accessible vans handle clients with mobility devices, those with cognitive impairment, and children in car seats. This service is offered for trips both within and outside Northumberland County (e.g., Oshawa, Toronto and Kingston). The rural route transportation service currently offers service to riders in three of the seven local municipalities of Northumberland County (Trent Hills, Cramahe Township, and Alnwick/Haldimand Township) with no out of area rides. The rural route offers walk-on transportation for individuals or families with car seats as well as clients requiring wheelchair access to access their local communities. This Project is focused on service expansion and service enhancement of Community Care Northumberland's existing specialized transportation program. This program already provides limited services in Northumberland County for medical, social, banking, recreational purposes and activities of daily living requirements. By expanding to currently under-serviced areas of the County and enhancing the mechanics of the existing program, a county-wide, centralized approach would help to create an environment where the most suitable service is available to transport an individual, at the most appropriate time, and at the lowest possible cost to the client. Overall, the service expansion and enhancements will build the capacity to better meet identified local transportation demand in the rural environment. By working in a partnership model with various health, social service, governmental and municipal leaders, this model will be successful in leveraging existing resources and providing more rides, to more people, to more destinations, within Northumberland County.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVES. The project objectives are two-fold: a) provide outreach, sampling, and communication of results to a broad base of NPDES jurisdictions, and b) conduct the hydrologic, geotechnical, and vegetation data collection to analyze the performance of bioretention facilities built with adherence to the 2012, revised in 2014, version of the SWMMWW.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVES. The Bi-County Bicycle/Pedestrian (Orange Belt) Trail (OBT) is a proposed regional multiuse trail spanning approximately 37 miles through Pasco County planned to provide regional connectivity. The OBT will enhance the existing and planned regional trail network by providing key connections to the Coast-to-Coast Trail, Xxxxxxx Trail, Suncoast Trail, and Withlacoochee Trail. In addition, the OBT will link communities such as Trinity, Odessa, Land O’Lakes, Xxxxxx Chapel, and Dade City to help fuel economic transformation along the trail corridor. The trail is proposed to be a 12- to 14-foot-wide paved multi-use trail that will be generally located along the alignment of the abandoned Orange Belt Railway. The OBT will be generally located off the roadway, where feasible, and follow natural features to the greatest extent possible.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVES. Describe the project and its rationale, including a list of the tasks to be completed and what will be delivered to the company (e.g., report, trainings, etc.). [attach additional pages as necessary]
