Asbestos ManagementThe Charter School agrees to pay all costs related to compliance with federal requirements for asbestos management in the Charter School.
Asbestos ManagementThe Tenant must inform the Parish Council immediately of any suspected Asbestos found on any plots. The Parish Council will keep an Asbestos register. We will arrange for a qualified inspection to determine the type of asbestos. The results of this will determine how it is managed. If it is not damaged, not causing a hazard it can be left alone, but must not be disturbed, drilled or worked upon. A sticker will be placed near it to warn every one of the dangers. The only asbestos that can be disposed of by Tenants (or non-specialised contractors on behalf of the Tenant) is concrete asbestos, which can be put in the bags provided by the Allotment Association. This must be handled and transported as detailed in our guidance document which can be obtained from the Council.

Asbestos Management. A representative from the Housing Department from Dutch Foreign Affairs will arrange in cooperation with Property and Infrastructure Support and the Principal an asbestos survey to be carried out every three years in line with the Dutch Asbestos policy. • The Principal or the delegated responsible person will monitor areas where asbestos material is present, record significant findings and arrange for remedial works to be carried out if necessary in cooperation with the Dutch Embassy. • All works undertaken will be updated in the asbestos survey on completion.
Asbestos Management. A. The District has surveyed its facilities for asbestos and the results have been placed in the “Asbestos Management Plan” for each facility. Each plan includes an operations and maintenance program. Management plans are available for Contractor’s review at the District’s Facilities Department during normal business hours. It is the Contractor’s responsibility to become familiar with the type and location of asbestos containing building materials in the facility by consulting the aforementioned Asbestos Management Plan and to survey the work area for potential asbestos containing materials before starting work. In performing the work, the Contractor will comply with procedures established in the operations and maintenance program and with Federal, State, and Local health and Safety Regulations. B. When the Contractor encounters, damages or disturbs asbestos containing building materials, or materials suspected of containing asbestos, Contractor will avoid taking any action which could cause release or spread of asbestos fibers. The Contractor will immediately stop work and notify the District’s project coordinator through the office of the District Director of Facilities, or the District Risk Manager. Work will not be resumed without the consent of the District.
Asbestos Management. The Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act of 1986 (AHERA) requires the inspection of all buildings in the school district for asbestos. Central Tech has complied with this act. An asbestos management plan documenting these inspections is kept on file for public review. To view the plan, please contact the maintenance office at the respective Central Tech campus.
Asbestos Management. Xxxxxx will be notified of any asbestos identified in the area they may be hiring and provided information and instructions by the Site Manager/Caretaker on what precautions need to be taken. Any unplanned disturbance of asbestos after the facilities have been hired must be reported to the Site Manager/Caretaker and Trust Compliance Officer asap with the following action taken: • All activities will stop, and everyone will be evacuated from the affected area. • Staff, pupils and visitors will not be allowed to re-enter the affected area until necessary remedial action has been taken. • Items, including equipment, books or personal belongings will not be moved from the area. • Advice will be sought from an Asbestos expert regarding remedial action. Unless the incident is minor the Compliance Officer will notify the HSE, as there is a legal requirement to do so under the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences (RIDDOR) 2013.
Asbestos Management. The following language shall be added to the last paragraph on page 79 of the Charter: “The Charter School shall occupy facilities that comply with the Asbestos requirement as cited in the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA), 40CFR part 763.”
Asbestos Management. In January 2013, the mandatory three-year inspection of the Walla Walla Public Schools facilities was successfully completed. This inspection is required by the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response ACT (AHERA) of 1986. AHERA regulations also require that annual notification be given to teachers, workers, and the students’ parents/guardians to update them on the status of asbestos in their schools and of the availability of the management plans. Walla Walla Public Schools conducts six-month periodic surveillance inspections in January and July to check the condition of the asbestos-containing building materials and the records are kept at Plant Facilities. The inspection reports are included in the updated copies of the AHERA Management Plans that are located in the district plant facilities office and district schools. Asbestos Management. 11.10.1 In order to comply with Environmental Law and Health and Safety Law the Seller appointed the Independent Consultant to carry out appropriate surveys of the presence of Asbestos in each of the Properties to assess the risk presented by the Asbestos identified and to prepare the Asbestos Management Plan in relation to that Asbestos. 11.10.2 Work recommended by the Independent Consultant in relation to the items of Asbestos identified at the Properties by the Independent Consultant to represent a “high” risk has been completed in accordance with all Environmental Law and Health and Safety Law and no such Asbestos remains at the Properties and each of the Group Companies are, in accordance with the timeframe recommended by the Independent Consultant, in the process of implementing the Asbestos Management Plan in relation to the other Asbestos identified. 11.10.3 The Group Companies have provided all information in their possession requested by the Independent Consultant in connection with its work in relation to Asbestos. 11.10.4 All information provided to the Independent Consultant by the Seller and the Group Companies in connection with its work is accurate.
