Assignment of Consulting Teachers. The Joint Panel will assign Consulting Teachers. Within the first twelve (12) weeks of the regular school year, either the Consulting Teacher or the Participating Teacher may petition the Panel for an assignment change for good reasons. The participating teacher shall be allowed only one (1) change per year.

Assignment of Consulting Teachers. As soon as practicable after referral to the Program, the Participating Teacher will review a list of available Consulting Teachers. The Participating Teacher shall select one Consulting Teacher from the list for consideration and approval by the Panel. The Consulting Teacher shall, whenever possible, have taught in the same grade level range (K-3, 3-5, 5-8, 8-12) or subject matter area as the Participating Teacher, depending on the circumstances. The Consulting Teacher shall then arrange a meeting with the evaluator of the Participating Teacher. The employee’s professional performance shall be discussed, as well as the evaluator’s recommendations for improvement.
Assignment of Consulting Teachers. 19.4.3.4.1 The number of Consulting Teachers to be selected may vary from year to year depending on the number of teachers who are referred or who volunteer for the PAR Program. Each year the PAR Panel shall maintain a pool of four classroom teachers, two elementary (one primary, one upper grade), one middle school and one high school, as Consulting Teachers. No more than one (1) Referred Participating Teacher shall be assigned to each PAR Consulting Teacher. If no Referred Participating Teacher is assigned to a Consulting Teacher, the Consulting Teacher will assume other duties as assigned by the PAR Panel.
